If you prefer a triangular reactor, get this one. If you prefer a round reactor, but this body type, wait for Mark IV (Q4 2018). If you prefer a round reactor, but a beefier body type, wait for Mark VII (probably releasing Q4 of 2019).
I’m already getting this one, but I’m torn between getting all three or not. I already have Mark VII regular and Stealth editions (my only other 2 HT Iron Man figs), but I’m down for a diecast version too.

I actually don't want to spend money right now (well, I do but I also don't) so I'll keep an eye on the availability of this one and also keep my eyes peeled for the Diecast VII announcement.

Having thought about it more, IV looks cool...but it's from Iron Man 2 and I think I'd prefer one that was in The Avengers.

This guy scales much better with everyone else, most of the plastic Iron Man figures were too short, IMO.

Aren't the old ones too small? That's been my understanding. And the last Iron Man I had (the very first Mark III) was definitely too small to be a suit of armor with a man inside.

I think the new ones are actually too big in comparison with other figures. Here's a pic below of the Mark I diecast War Machine next to some other MCU figures. The Vision figure is the same height as Thor.

I also think they are probably too big compared to older IM or other Marvel characters. But I don't mind actually. Even the MK3 DC's size...I display them where I don't really notice size differences between figures.

I hope thats not why he stopped. I feel like he doesn't rely on YouTube for a career or anything. And honestly, if any figure needed multiple videos it was that behemoth of a figure.

I know I may be nitpicking AF.. but I think the arc reactor supposed to be more like this? It's more of a seperate arc reactor than the one on Tony's chest.

Just saw Xenom0rphs review. I have to say this another master piece by HOT TOYS. This really has me thinking I should sell trade my DX11 to put towards this figure. I have to many pre-orders down the pipeline.

The new DC just blows the plastic one out of the water. After watching the review, definitely excited to get this figure in hand.

I wish he pointed out exactly what parts are diecast.

I assume the attachments are all plastic... but what's diecast?


Also, this is good filler until HT delivers an actual ALL DIECAST version. And it will.
