I really liked the character more than I was expecting to. (Same for Baze).

Not sure if I like them enough to warrant purchasing them, though. But I have a feeling that we'll see lower production numbers on these R1 hero figures (compared to TFA figures) and they will sell out rather quickly, causing secondary market prices to go up quickly.

Yeah, I get that feeling that the one shot films like RO should have lower production numbers...in addition, as the 1/6 hobby matures, HT has been trying to minimize/control production runs more closely in general it seems.

Edit: Both versions of figure back in stock at BBTS as I type this.

Same. The purpose of adding "I'm blind!" is to explain the joke to any audience members who don't get it, which (I feel personally) lessens the quality of the joke. I don't care for when things have to be pointed out.

I can't tell if your being sarcastic they have been some cases where the sculpt is there while the paint apps miss the mark making it look like a different person. This is one I want them to nail 100%

Meant to post this awhile ago, but I've been busy.
I was all in for deluxe but after finding out the base is just a reused Predator base... decided to go with standard.. deluxe lost its appeal after that. But I'm sure it'll be cool for whoever gets it. I used some reward points as well, now he's more reasonably priced lol Hoping to get Baze, just wish his figure looked a little more dirty.
Hoping for a reveal soon.

I liked this character despite initial reservations, both with how Star Wars was originally conceived and with how it was clear he would be portrayed, but I enjoyed him in the flick nonetheless. One issue I'm not crazy with is his character arc.

In terms of combat, he peaked at Jedha. That fight of his was sick and it would have been great to see him use some of that as he finally went down. My personal preference would have been to have Vader on Scariff, but nonetheless we see him take down 20 stormtroopers on Jedha and then at the end it feels like it's been ages since his last encounter with a Stortrooper, just felt like his ending could have been framed better.

But all that said, he's a sweet looking character with a killer likeness to Donnie Yen, gotta go watch Ip Man now.

I liked him and Baze as characters, but did not like them being in this movie. Probably helps that I'm a huge fan of Donnies already, but just kept thinking they should have been in another sci fi movie.So, it tears at me whether I need this or not.

It wouldnt make any sense for him to be in another movie. His whole personality is based around the force and his belief in it. I don't see why he shouldnt have been in Star Wars?

This is quickly becoming the one other character besides Jyn I feel tempted to get. I'm just not sure it's something I'll still be as interested in by the time it's released next July or August. Especially with all the hype and new figure previews we'll be seeing for Episode VIII about that time...

I can't decide if I should PO Chirrut or the new Arkham Batman.

If I get Chirrut, I am going to have to bet Baze as well; great characters and they need to go together. My wife also likes Donnie Yen, so I would get the "thumbs up" on that purchase.

However, Batman is one of my favourite comic book characters and I have played all of the Arkham games (love them!). I already have Knightmare Batman and the black chrome Armoured Batman, but this one is completely different. I won't PO the Arkham Joker.
