That is not true.

What makes the filler episodes worse is that they are all stretched out over 2 or 3 sometimes 4 episodes back to back. So somehow you find yourself halfway through a season and you’ve only completed 2 or 3 episodes. With that said though, the episodes that aren’t filler are absolutely some of the best SW content made.

I've been a Star Wars fan since the early 90's but could never get on board with TCW. Had the same tonal whiplast as TPM or ROTS, having fairly serious scenes diluted by children's slapstick. I'm led to believe the later seasons are much better but I've never found a good jumping in point.

I never got into tcw either. People I respect a lot praise it but the animation is too styilyzed for me to get into.

I actually think the animation in TCW is much better than the 2003 version, and most animation out today. Where they really lost me is the animation style they went with for Rebels and anything after. I much prefer live action but I do like TCW, old Pixar, Disney, and Tim Burton works.

They’re very similar right? Any style close to TCW is a win, Rebels just veered too far away in style for me, Vader looked weird. He looked fantastic at the end of TCW, wish we got a few more episodes at the end with him and Rex but it’s understandable why we didn’t.

Not sure when it happened but the Deluxe is waitlisted too.


With all the recent Sith love, would be really nice surprise if this Vader had some extra attention done to it.

Given that they went through the effort to make the DX28 head, one would think the same one will be used for ROTJ.

But the DX28 head has the ANH small chin vent as opposed to the ROTJ large chin vent -- probably the most significant difference in the masks at first glance.

And HT's ROTJ Vader proto did have the correct larger chin vent in the proto photos.

We don’t have any indication one way or the other. Could be next week or two more months. But I agree it seems like we are moving toward the release window…which is why I don’t personally expect any changes to what was shown.

If they use digital sculpts for the helmet, could be a simple alternate lower half of the mask.

It wouldn’t surprise me. They just finished AotC and went straight to RotJ 3PO and then 0-0-0 must have hit production right after to be in stock for the dark side event. Obi-Wan Kenobi Vader is shipping now so following that same logic of keeping some of the same tooling on the production line, RoTJ Vader could be happening now and ready fairly soon.
