If the MkVI arms come off they should be compatible.

My worry is any regular arms will look too short & skinny (as the overall body is "beefed up"

Maybe Heartbreakers arms will look OK?

Its a little hard to tell because of the overlap, but considering the Mark 36 Peacemaker is the same exact armor as Red Snapper but without the long claw arms, it looks ok to me. Unless the arms that are on Mark VI are shorter than the arms we are seeing in this pic of Mark 36.

Sorry folks I barely remember this suit in the film...someone said 9 seconds....whatever

Like 5 seconds of the film, blows up like a piece of junk. Why would anyone drop $$ on this?

Agreed. I buy figures and statues because I want to have a representation of the character at my home. I can't say I want anything to do with this armor. Looks cool and all, but given the context it has in the movie, it's an EASY pass.

Totally superfluous.

HT should can it and bring something out that isn't going to be selling at a deep discount 6mths after release.

Having now seen the movie, I wonder financially which would have ended up better for Hot Toys:

1. Mixing up all of the armors between PPS / MMS / Diecast series.

or

2. Making the main suits (42 / IP) diecast, and all of the secondary drone suits that hardly had any screen time at all PPS and at a lower price point.

If they had priced all of the drones suits in the price range of the PPS Mk 42 ($165), I would think they'd sell a lot more of them. But with Red Snapper at $255, that's priced more like a regular figure / main character.

After seeing the movie, I'm surprised HT is making any of these extra suits at all. Waste of resources IMO.

Well, doesn't it seem a bit surprising that HT didn't release a single new figure the day before / day of / day after the US release of the movie? Maybe they're getting the same feedback internationally and are rethinking their strategy?

They did say 15 pieces from the movie, right?

1. Mk 42 diecast
2. Mk 42 PPS
3. IP diecast
4. Tony Stark
5. Mandarin
6. Red Snapper
7. Igor
8. Hearbreaker

So there are SEVEN more to be announced, not to mention that the last four I listed here are now really iffy for a lot of people after seeing the movie? Boy, I dunno...

If they went if option 2, I would have bought the secondary suits. By the time they release these figures, probably the IM3 frenzy would have died down and with other reveals, folks will have better options to direct their funds.
