^^yep. I wish i knew how to do it. Yet again I wish hot toys get off their *** with most of the figs as of lately

Yeah! That's the one. I have to see the figure in hand to see what needs to be done. It doesn't look like he had to CUT the midsection to get articulation. That would have been the hardest to do without possibly messing up the figure. It looks like the rotation is already possible because it's naturally cut and the pistons are actually holding it into position.

He says in the video he took the figure apart to it's core, and goes on to show to the single small screw holding it together as well as a larger screw he used to replace it.

Those piston upgrades must have been a *****, but look amazing.

Does this guy have a web site?

Is that an additional $450 or $450 a turn key figure.

No no, people complain about how Hot Toys took "shortcuts" on this figure yet other don't realize that people are not completely sold on this suit.

That being said, its likely a fully articulated MMS style, 40+ points of articulation, red snapper would be in the $350 price range (sorry i meant $350 not $450 in my last post).

The whole point of the PPS line was to offer 1:6 scale figs at lower prices at the cost of articulation.

I think its funny people complain about figs having limited articulation and calls out Hot Toys on it when the fig itself is part of a line that's MEANT to have limited articulation.

I don't know how many people would want to pay $400 or more for Red Snapper. PPS makes a heck of a lot of sense for less crucial, less popular, armors. What with pricing nowadays, $255 seems fair for a larger, yet less articulated, piece.

Thats my arguement :lol

I can see Hammerhead getting a PPS release just for those reasons

Gotcha, I was hoping I could send him $200 and my figure and get the FA figure back.

I want full articulation on my Red Snapper!!! I demand it!!!!!

Signed,

People who have Mk 2-7, 42, IP, Midas and Python all in museum poses at home.

Honestly, I just want the torso to move. I don't even care about the pistons being workable. Plus I want the option to remove the two claws. Just like the one in bullet1217's picture.

Just got the Red Snapper, beautiful piece. I was able to do the mod with the hands to have the snappers be removable. It was a really easy mod. I am including a link of a youtube video which explains it for anyone interested. The guy also showed how to replace the hands with movable fingers. I'll try that later on, be nice to have that option. Still looking at how the other guy was able to disassemble the chest to get the torso movable. Looks like a bit tougher to do.

Here's the link.
