As long as the magnetism doesn't wear off over time, its a brilliant idea... I hate every time I want to switch hands I have to foul up my pose so I can get a grip on the arm.
Absolutely. The magnets are something I'm happy about.

Anytime someone mentions PERS looking great it's usually on a character with makeup on. Figures like Indy and the T-800 look worse because of PERS.Disagree with not using Pers if actually done right it adds to the dynamic of posing.
Dx08, Dx06 and DX15 all nailed it. Just adjusting the eyes can really change a pose.

That's not PERS on the BD T-800 that's ERS. lolI think it looks good on the BD T-800. Now the Galleria T-800? Shades NEVER come off.
The DX10 does.Jack Sparrow, Keaton Bats and Joker PERS looks great -- but yes, eye make-up. Also, manic characters need crazy eyes.
Indiana Jones was the abomination that spawned the word 'abomination'. Like Indy 5.
I have T2 T-800 -- does that have PERS?

The DX10 does.
Not my pic
The DX13Nope, I have the T-800 that came with the T-1000 blob
You can re magnetize a magnet. Unless you mean the magnet falling out of the figure. As long as the magnetism doesn't wear off over time, its a brilliant idea... I hate every time I want to switch hands I have to foul up my pose so I can get a grip on the arm.
My only concern is the magnet will be too strong and detach from the socket with the hand when you pull lolThat's true, I hate fragile plastic wrist pegs, I wish some kind of metal connection could be the standard but that's unlikely. The magnet thing is just my personal preference, at this point I'll just hope they use super duper magnets like you mention lol, then it won't bother me much.
It's kind of a 'set it and forget it' type of thing, generally speaking.Come to think of it I haven't touched the PERS or movable eyes on any such figure in my collection in years.
DX08, DX09, DX10, DX13, DX14, Batman Returns and Avengers Hulk.

Same here, I have the DX08, DX10, DX12, DX15, and the MMS294. I’m afraid they’ll break lol..Come to think of it I haven't touched the PERS or movable eyes on any such figure in my collection in years.

What makes the magnetism wear off?As long as the magnetism doesn't wear off over time, its a brilliant idea... I hate every time I want to switch hands I have to foul up my pose so I can get a grip on the arm.
Oh I didn't think about it wearing off, something else for me to worry about. But yeah it's hard to argue that it's not a good idea, it's something new so I guess I can't really judge it until I'm holding it, I might end up liking it. I'm probably just overthinking since it was so much money lolAs long as the magnetism doesn't wear off over time, its a brilliant idea...
