Right... there is still a lot that we don't know about the new suit. I hope the new material wouldn't deteriorate over time. My Anakin's "leather" outfit is already cracking.

you guys hoping for tight joints are just kidding yourselves at this stage. there is no way to make the joints on this body any tighter without redesigning the whole thing. it's like the buck. that body was loose for years and they never did anything about it. just the way the joints are designed.

Actually, tightening the screws on the body works pretty well.

mine has been shipped to Aus,and i got this weird email from a Jeff Dean saying that my card was declined....i paid for this earlier this month.I dont know if it is a scam or what,but everything else went through and it shipped
I might email SSC regarding this email....cause if there are usually dramas one of the chicks there usually emails me.

Actually, tightening the screws on the body works pretty well.

Worked on my Troopers but you kind of have to break the armor on the clones. Mine will be here tomorrow.

It's as easy as running a razor blade along the glued seam on the side of the breast plate until you weaken it enough to pop it open. When you're done it glues right back into place flawlessly.

I cracked mine open tonight and I am very impressed. Great paint apps (although the blue is a different hue than the prototype) and I think this new body suit fits better and looks better. AND I am not sure if anyone else posted this but SS changed the friggin' STAND! It's a crotch stand ala Hot Toys rather than the waist stand. This is big. I can't recommend this figure enough, way better than last year's Han and Luke fiasco.

Cool to know he has the raised ribbing on the body suit... the proto didn't have it and one of my hesitations in ordering was preferring how the new body suit looked.

Got mine in today . Only bummer is the ankles are weak and he won't stand at all. Otherwise a great looking figure. Also, SSC changed the stand and it's much easier to use.

Yeah, Sideshow needs to make just the wire parts of the crotch stands available to us so we can replace all our trooper stands. The wire around the waist, on Stormtroopers, etc, really doesn't work that well.

Anyone going to Comic-con should ask Sideshow to make just the crotch wire part available on their website.
