The ab armor is supposed to be straight - it shouldn't be bent. The vest needs taking in, that's the only problem. I hate to see wrong information becoming the accepted line.

Actually, the ab armor is quite rounded, especially at the sides:

Definitely boxier than I would have imagined but overall I still like it. I won't be attempting any of the mods but I have a feeling that the next offering will be adjusted to the point of people crying out for a new Empire version.

Are you guys sure that the ab armor is straight? I have try to see it on the movie. but it looks a little bend. some one have some reference pictures?

After reading through the last twenty or so pages. I think this is a stellar release, and the chest armor is fixable without any need of modding. Just futzing it will do.

I hate to disagree with you Dave, as yours looks fantastic, but bending the ab armor is all I did, and it was a pretty slight bend, but made a world of difference.

And, after spending hours going through the Dented Helmet galleries, I am pretty sure that the ab palte is not completely flat.

I agree with you. the ab armor on the movie seems to have a curve.

Don't get me wrong though, I think Dave's mod accomplishes the same effect of removing the boxiness and looks fantastic! Heck, I planned on doing the same thing, but was just experimenting to see how bending the ab plate would work. I don't think one way is better than the other. Rubio's also accomplishes the same thing, so it looks like there are plenty of options out there.

This thread is sexy again.

yes! and I'm in love with this figure again :clap
after a lot of crapy shoots (especially from sideshow) I have to say that this figure looks amazing after a little effort. Took back all my words, and I'm happy that didn't cancell it :panic::panic::panic:
