That was fairly quick considering there wasn't a PPO or anything. I think the orange snake inspired by the vintage figure was a good choice for the exclusive.

I never had that Kenner figure as a kid (I never was to keen on SW toys anyway). This one, a friend gave it to me, alone with some Ewoks and things... 'cause he knew I was 'collecting SW stuff'. I gladly accepted. Only years later, I found out that it was suppose to have a cane. Concidering he actually played with those toys, I was pretty lucky that the snake was still there.
Great story!I still remember my mom buying Yoda for me when I was a kid. I hadn't even seen him in stores yet when she handed me a bag and told me there were new underwear inside. I didn't even reach out for the bag so she had to coerce me a bit..... Of course when I opened it I went nuts.

Have to agree... its great in that you don't have to have it (not like he's ever wearing a snake in the movie) but its 100% classic Vintage Kenner.

I remember getting him from TG&Y. Later that night I broke his belt

Might be another item that will come with Dagobah Luke (since everyone assumes that's coming)?
Pretty sure I lost his cane that same day.
I ended up with 5 or 6 Yodas as a kid due to replacing all the crap I'd lose.

I ended up with 2 a few years back, but no cane between them. Luckily I was able to buy a loose cane and sell off the extra Yoda. What was fun is that one Yoda was Dark Green and the other was Light Green.
Had never seen one of the variants together before.

Well, when I saw it earlier today - I was hoping the vid could convince me to actually buy that environment hut thing... - I noticed that the guy in the vid mentioned that the flying animal thing (forgot the name) would be the exclusive accessory. I could have sworn that there was no exclusive version of the environment when I last checked... Just to be sure I checked again, and I was right. So, since the info in the vid is not entirely correct, perhaps that is the reason why SSC has taken it off the air?

I only have one little naked light green one ATM. I started picking up a few originals last year to try to fill the gaps in my collection but haven't added any in awhile.

Waitlist is a great option, it just sold out so I would say if you got on now you would 100% have a conversion.
I got on the waitlist for the BD Iron Man III Ex months after it sold out, and was able to get a conversion. Waitlist is the latecomers friend
