Are you sure the snake is backwards in the Sideshow snake, and not in the Kenner snake instead? Look at how the head of the snake is angled. They match on both snakes. I would need to find my own Yoda snake to check for myself, which could take a while. Is the Kenner snakes eyes on the front of the snake or the back of the snake in that pic? If the eyes are on the back, looking over Yoda's shoulder, then the Sideshow snake isn't wrong. Remember, you could always flip the Kenner snake over, so that the head was either on Yoda's right or Yoda's left. Also, doesn't the Kenner snake lay flat anyway, unless you flex it one way or the other with one of his hands??

The Medi looks like Yoda as a crack addict. He looks so sickly and the eyes are dilated. I think they had the right idea with the skin tones, but it was poorly executed. Nobody seems to be getting his color green correct.

It's close..... something more human-y in the proportions of the face on the SS Yoda but all the trappings are there.

I am happy that I am beyond needing a perfect likeness. Look at all the hate that being a Sculpt Nazi breeds. I am perfectly content that the figure is (to me) a great representation of the character. Further, I am willing to bet the sculpt is fine and the paint apps are the cornerstone of the issue as normal.
That being said...is it just me or does anybody else see Mel Brooks' Yogurt from Spaceballs in this one?

Certainly not with a good side-by-side. But SOMETHING about that Sideshow Yoda hints at Yogurt to me.

Personally, I find the environment pretty cool and I could be interested...
However, I don't like the SSC 1/6 Yoda. I prefer the one made by Medicom.
That said, do we know if this figure can bend her legs and sit down?
It's the only move the Medicom figure can't do and that would convince me to buy the SSC version.

There's NO denying Medicom Yoda is a great figure (sans articulation) Anyone that argues against it is a fool IMO.

I mean yeah it looks kinda off, but it still looks really good to me.(people comparing shades of green make me laugh ALMOST as hard as people that talk about .5 inches in scale) It for sure won't replace my Medi Yoda, but i will get it anyways as there's no such thing as too many Yoda's. And will find a place to put it in my collection.
