I did not. There you go, no need for the Gentle Giant stuff. :rock

Depending how the one with the figure turns out, you may want to go that route anyway, but may as well hold off and go with the one coming with the figure first, save some money.

trying to decide if I should keep my reserve or cancel it. I got the 2 Obi's coming as well as the new zombie, plus triad items as well. Already canceled Adi and the Santa Zombie.

"Goodbye, Doctor Jones!" :gun

I just canceled him. I really love Indiana Jones, but I think any enthusiasm I had for owning Indy collectibles was destroyed by watching KOTCS on opening night this summer. :horror

That, and I really need to find some focus in my collecting habits. Giant Robots and Star Wars have always taken top priority. That's just how I roll, I guess.

I'm on the verge of cancelling myself. I'll probably do so between tonight and tomorrow. It's just that I already have the Indy PF on preorder, so what is the real need to get the 1/6th version.

Can't Sideshow see what's happening here?

One word: Momentum...

Yeah, really. What momentum? They've basically snuffed the life out of this line before the release of the first figure.

And NOVEMBER now? Really? If this thing is anything less than perfection now, I'm carpet-bombing this place. Be warned.

Even with all the help they've been getting from Hot Toys lately, it seems Sideshow still has something very important to learn from them. How to strike while the iron is hot.

Well, I don't know about that. There where several delays on the POTC figures and Iron Man isn't out yet either. Though, I agree SS really is taking big chances with this and possibly not giving this line a lot of life.

Well, I have no intention of canceling, but it seems pretty clear that they never intended Indiana Jones to be anything but a sideline. Of course with the way Hasbro's figures are selling (or not selling) maybe that was the right decision.

I was really hoping this would ship soon. I was going to cancel the exclusive, but instead decided to give it to a friend who has been extra good to me lately.

It's disappointing. So many wants for this line. Not enough people that wanted the same thing I guess.

Much like 1989, Bat-hype has obliterated Indy's longevity.

Looks like Belloq and Indy will be about it. Maybe Toht if he's far enough down the pipeline.

I wouldn't count on anything else. If it comes, great. Maybe we'll see the next figure when the DVD is released. Nothing more after that.

Well, if Sideshow doesn't make any more figures after Belloq for the Indy movies, then I'll make a few of my own. I especially want a Marion Ravenwood, Short Round, and Willie Scott. I put the Hasbro Mutt Williams head on a better Dragon body, and I'm pretty happy with it. I may do a repaint of Mutt's head. I hope to get the jacket, hat and gloved hands from Hot Toys new Marlon Brando 1950s version. He wears almost the same thing that Mutt wore in KOTCS. Spielberg MUST have modeled Mutt's outfit after Marlon Brando's biker outfit.

I'm not cancelling my pre-order for the 1:6 scale exclusive Indy from Sideshow. I'll always keep my "candle burning" for Indy. I enjoyed KOTCS this summer. I know I'll buy the DVD as soon as it comes out in October this year.

I'm not worried about the figure or the line... Once Indy arrives, things will be cool. I don't mind the pace, all in good time.. I say.

I just know the greatness that can be achieved with that sculpt. I can make a mold of the hat, so we can have a removable hat for him to hold or to tilt back on his head at the idol post.... I'll be making a Deckard head from the hatless head eventually...

Everything will be gravy... :D

Don't understand how interest in Indy can wain... were people really that caught up in KOTCS? I've been a pretty much a life long fan so figures anytime are good with me.

I can't claim life-long with LOTR... but again another property that I don't think I'll ever tire of. Honestly, it kinda surprised me how quickly they became favorites :rock

I have always been and will always be a fan of Indy. And I will continue to support this line. I''m not speaking for anyone else but the Indy figures in my part of NY continue to sell and I'm still awaiting the arrival of the next batch of figs which are nowhere to be found.

I don't care how popular this line is, if they can make a boring-ass Belloq in a suit, then there's no reason they shouldn't at least make one more intersting Indy variant, Marion, Mola Ram and Toht before the finish the series off.

If they end the line with Belloq, I will be severely pissed. I like Belloq and all, but come on! We need at least a Marion, Mola Ram, Short Round, and Henry Sr. I really hope they pick up the pace soon.
