Surely Hot Toys will make an alien figure for this movie. They did one for Prey (2022)
rumor has it the Big Chap from Alien (1979) is returning so this might be a chance for them to do a 2.0 of that alien

I don't know. They've barely done anything since the marines, they did the Ripley Nostromo figure, the Big Chap, Nostromo suits (Kane, Dallas)...the marines were what, 2004-2006, that's twenty years ago. They teased Prometheus (Shaw), never amounted to anything...I'm not hopeful.

I think if anyone could do a 1/6 scale alien it would be neca to be honest, their 1/4 scale alien was great. Probably aren't allowed though if hot toys has that scale license.

I'm expecting the Alien only.

I would love to see a franchise wide revisit announcement, but it won't happen.

The MCU ruined HT's vision.
Truer words have never been spoken. I think in 2012 they went downhill

Franchise revisit would be epic. New Dallas, Big Chap, Ash would be my top wants. I'm not a big fan of Aliens but I'd buy a Warrior, Hicks and Hudson, as well as a Bishop of course
Super long shot but I'd also love an Amanda Ripley(with a ton of accessories from the game) and a David/Walter

If they can do Star Wars Legends then they could do some comic Xenos or whatever. I'd like to see a Royal facehugger :rotfl

If you want all those Aliens figures how can you not be a big fan? :)

I’m playing the game atm so of course will agree with this. And yes she has to have flare, medikit, shotgun, revolver, noise maker, EMP bomb, motion tracker, flamethrower, molotov, stun baton, welding torch, smoke bomb and that legendary bolt gun lol

Hahaha you got me. I'll watch the movie if I am watching the Alien films, but I won't enjoy it :rotfl not a big James Cameron fan and I prefer the horror of the first film, the attention to detail in the sets and the mystique of the Alien. I think Aliens has none of that. I suppose its overrated imo, but I still enjoy it enough that I would order announced figures

Oh shoot! Now I want to replay it again too :lol:panic: even if it just came with half of those it would be great, especially next to Nostromo Ripley

So you'd buy 4 figures from a movie you're not even a big fan of. Dare I ask how many figures you own?...

Well I like certain things about the movie and one of those is the characters. I just didn't like the shift to more of an action film vs horror in the first film. I also preferred the Big Chap design. I do generally enjoy the Alien/Predator lore and characters and that's why I would buy them

Well, in combination with a steady paycheck and a generous display space, "crazy" usually does the job...
Yeah absolutely :rotfl A lot of my money comes from investments and I actually have little to no display space as I'm in a temporary space until construction on my home is done, but yeah its easier to collect this way. I spent years unable to buy a lot and missed a ton of figures, as well as being unable to go back and get older ones like the AVP line and the most recent Ripley. Now with Artisans and more companies making 1/6 I feel its the best time to collect and hopefully we get more figures from the new and old films

It would be nice to just get a new Alien and Facehugger from this film. It would be easy on our wallets

I managed to get hold of Hot Toys 1/6 Xenomorph, Hudson, Drake, Vasquez and Ripley with the Powerloader back in the day, so I personally already have what I need from this franchise. But it's always good to see new takes on older figures. While I believe their armour and equipment still hold up well to this day, the headsculpts could really use some nice custom portraits.

This seems like a consistent opinion in the hobby, which is probably why I see so many custom projects and headsculpts these days. Haven't seen anyone make custom heads for the marines yet
