lol, I don't know if I should apologize or congratulate you He's a nice solid figure. Definitely a major step up from Grimlock and Starscream in my book, neither of which I cared for the feel of in hand. I've got MP-10 on order for the end of the month and am hoping he's just as great as Soundwave; I've heard good things so I'm not worried.
After digging MP-08 Grimlock back out last night, I can see the appeal and desire for a larger, properly-scaled Masterpiece Grimlock. In robot mode, he just didn't look right standing next to Masterpiece Soundwave
That said, I don't think it's a problem I'd pay $200 to resolve
No 3rd party has released all 5 yet have they? Seems like as soon as one company gets 2 or 3 out the door, another company gets into the game with even better versions.yeah I want to get all the dinobots they would look great once completed
If only Michael Bay were in charge of the classic cartoons. . .Thought this was funny:

I suspect the yellow/green of the two versions isn't actually any different in real life, and that it's purely a difference in the photography.Better decals are good, but I prefer the yellow of the non-exclusive.
I'm going to try to pick one of these up at SDCC.
Is this your first Sdcc? It's actually a pain in the ass...
Yeah it's my first one. Everything I've heard about going seems to be a pain in the ass but waiting in lines and all that is just part of going to cons. I may not get one for my effort but I'll give it a shot.

Just an update on the green of the SDCC version; I had forgotten about this photo from IGN the week prior. As you can see, the green of the SDCC Devastator appears very different than Hasbro's official promotional images. In fact I'm sure it's the same yellowish-green of the retail version.I suspect the yellow/green of the two versions isn't actually any different in real life, and that it's purely a difference in the photography.
So true. And TT is teasing their own version that'll likely be shown at the Tokyo show:
