Whilst I still feel that both sculpts are lacking likeness to some degree, they are beautiful, beautiful sculpts.

Yeah, kinda makes you wonder what the DX set will come with... One head and one figure might make for a rather affordable DX (Non-Indy like).

Automatic pre-order for me! This is the only chance I'll get in acquiring a Jack Sparrow.. The old ones were long sold out when I started collecting sixth-scale figures.

Same here dude. This is one of my favorite characters and I missed my chance on the first releases. In a way I'm glad I didn't get a chance to get them because this version will blow those away. I know the sculpts aren't perfect but they will make some adjustments and with HTs, you know that he will come with the best extras. This will be POed as soon as it's available.

Like HT said in their FB page, this will be the Genuine Jack Sparrow! I missed out on the others as well so this is a MUST before it reaches th crazy prices that the others fetch for

that would be cool, but these are complete faces where as the DX02 Bats was really just another mouth. Another HS would deinitely bring up the price even more so. I'm already scared to find out what this is going to cost

Kind of weird, though, since the buyers should have known a DX was coming out (we got the announcement last year I believe). And I sold a complete Jack with box last year--via eBay auction, and only got a smidge over $200 for him. Eh. . .

I'm gonna guess $250... seems unlikely HT would be bold enough to shatter the Indy pricetag so soon.

I think this is awesome, I can't belive some people ar'nt happy with it.

I think the smiling one isn't too bad, but the teeth bother me a bit. The regular sculpt, well, if someone can find a picture of him making that face and put it side to side, maybe I'll see Depp there, but I honestly don't see him. The lips aren't right. The rest of the it looks really great though.

Seriously! People are craping about the Captain America trailer over in the first avenger thread in ways that are mind boggling... "The 1345th frame has too munch Cyan in the CMYK mix and therefore the entire movie must be an EPIC FAIL!!!!1!11!"

There's a big difference between what you're saying here, and people saying they aren't quite happy with the sculpt. When you already collect this character and have a few pieces already, you always hope for an OMG moment.

The EXM version looks like Depp while in the act of pooping.
