Another amazing picture. Looks extremely bulky... also, I think this looks amazing sans head sculpt due to the fact that the amazing shine and detail on the helmet is amazing.

Did we ever see how the face plate or helmet came off...was it like the traditional Iron Man suits or was it like the 46?

Nah, he never took it off in age of ultron.. There were even conspiracies theorizing that he was remotely piloting the suit.

Anyways.. It does look great. I'm sticking to my rule though.. I'm only going to buy 1 hot toys 1/4 figure and it's going to be the final armor he wears in the MCU.. So hopefully it'll be just as nice.

Ah ok.

Yeah I'm not delving into 1/4 IM...i made that decision when I decided not to buy the Mark 43 1/4. Instead I have a few more sixth scale.
But this one is so so tempting wow.

Also...does anyone on here have any experience with the "Soap Studios Reactor"?

A few people, check the Ultron Prime thread

Craig Walker incorporated it into his Prime Stand https://www.sideshowcollectors.com/forums/showthread.php?t=153646&p=8697509&viewfull=1#post8697509
Nice guy I'm sure he will help you if you asked nicely :)

Don't think we ever see it in the movie.

Budget stark has a great detailed review of the figure.

Top notch review and outstanding figure. The leg and arm articulation is unreal.

As much as I love my QS005, this may well be the better looking suit, especially in "helmeted" pose.. That detail and paint looks amazing.

Articulation looks very good, but not that much better than the 43. Rather, the innovations here work better with the more curved/muscular design of the suit, covering up gaps that weren't an issue on the 43. Very cool suit, but not for me; I'll be waiting for the 46 or wherever comes after.

The articulation is improved over the 43. The way the legs articulate and the arms make a huge difference.

The wait for this to get to Sideshow has just become more painful that it's out in HK ha

They are displaying this without the stand a lot it seems. The ankles must be sturdy.

well, just got my delayed notice from ssc now. pushed to dec-jan. funny cause i literally just pre-ordered it when the pics started popping up on the blog sites, and then i'm rewarded with a delay. nice.

It's not actually delayed. It's just how sideshow updates its shipping and arrival stuff. It just came out in Hong Kong so it wasn't going to be out in November (in the USA) anyway.
