Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Okay maybe not the butt of jokes other than Stark's comments but still played as a bit of a silly character with the I understood that reference stuff.

But to address an elephant in the room about AEG. Maybe someone who paid better attention to the time travel rules can enlighten me but by Steve going back in time and marrying Peggy did he eradicate and wipe from existence her original kids like Kyle Reese did to original timeline John Connor? :panic:

So everyone in the MCU has to tell a goofy joke or two or make fun of themselves but when Cap has to it ruins the movie for you? What the hell Khev :lol ;) ;)

:lol :lol :lol about the 2nd part of your post.

I think it’s safe to say that the last hour and a half is the best hour and a half ever in this specific genre which is crazy because for many movies that’s almost their entire run time.

Can you imagine the script and pre vis for this movie like wait what are we doing again lol

Last hour and a Half??? I felt like from the time Thanos shows up to the end credits its only like 50 min tops... The finale battle only felt like about a 1/2 hour.

Now maybe it just seemed fast after the dragging 2nd act.. But I don't think it as a full hour and a half, unless you are counting some of the time travel stuff.

Not that it matters.. Best hour and a half or best 50 min.. Either way its best for you :lol

I kinda felt there was not enough.. But again that goes back to my lack of enjoyment of the time travel plot. Back to the Future part 2 did it better :lol

I liked smart Hulk, but it does take away a lot of Hulk's charm and general appeal as Id gone wild. So, hopefully he'll get traumatized and revert or become gray hulk or something.

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Technically, we don't know that Steve actually married Peggy. Yes, he was wearing a wedding ring and yes, he was dancing with her in the past at the end. But maybe they had a fling that didn't work and then he married someone else. So maybe those kids that Khev refers to still happened.

Or maybe they're just trying to retcon some things here.

Ya know I liked smart Hulk also... I would have been cool with smart Hulk on the battle field doing some cool stuff. As is it felt like he was not really part of the team for that final scene.

I agree with you about the charm.. Its why I love the Hulk character.. All that power with the mind of a child.. "Too many stairs" may be my 2nd fav Hulk line in the MCU after "leave me alone" for TIH :lol

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Hydra Cap starts off Phase 4.

Khev’s body found a day later lol

I'm dying, lol. :lol :lol

Um well it made perfect rational sense when I typed it at least, lol. I don't know, I'm trying to backtrack on accepting Avengers Cap to make you feel better about AEG Hulk, leave me alone, lol. ;)

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

I thought it was the Russo's neutering of Hulk, and how he should have been strong enough to not be severely hurt by the snap. Too many discussions at once - I'm losing track too. :lol

I remember.. You said something about Hulk not being able to fight in final battle becasue of gimp arm and I nerded out on you :lol

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

I'm willing to bet money that's the whole point of Cap staying in the past...besides the full circle dance scene, which was nice. Phase 4 is taking place in a altered timeline thanks to Captain America. It looks the same on the surface, but things have changed. OMG... I'm going to stop now. :lol

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Ha.. That would teach Khev a leasson..

I am not sure what lesson he should be taught.. But still, it would be taught :lol

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Per The Ancient One's explanation, his being there creates a new timeline "branch", but everything in his past still happened and he hooks up with alternate timeline Peggy, not original recipe Peggy. Agreed, it's weird.

I think this is one of the most important scenes in the movie in terms of setting up future MCU events while resolving things that happened "in the past" (movie course correction, its a beautiful thing). For example, the mid credits scene of Captain Marvel directly ties to the end of IW, but at the start of EG:
CM seemingly finds Stark & Nebula (maybe now not so) randomly in space, and never references looking for Fury once while planning with the Avengers.

So are the events of EG in an alternate timeline or original recipe? :gah: :cuckoo::wink1:

JAWS so unappreciative sometimes right lol

Hey “Leave Me Alone” is his favorite line of dialogue from MCU Hulk good choice of words. :lol

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

There's a reason why smart hulk didn't last longer in the comic! Though Keown is one of my favorite hulkb artists ever, and he did a lot of those comics. Similar to how we periodically see the thing become Ben Grimm is human form, RC Bruce Banner able to control the Hulk, those things just aren't very interesting in the long run. The fans want to see the thing is this character with all this pathos. And they want to see Hulk smashing things indiscriminately with Bruce Banner having to deal with the aftermath.

Edit: voice recognition on my phone sucks tonight. Haha.

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Everyone thinks here this is the end, hell no, i am intrigued by phase 4, this is where the real marvel begins!!! With xmen, FF, in play, get ready for the most ambitious crossover than IW AND EG combined, ever.

I am excited, this is just closing the original arc which is just basic characters, now we get the nitty and gritty other characters that were my true favorites, i mean far from home is a mystery, where does the timeline fit in, fury, hogan appear, no stark as of yet but at the same time is quentin beck’s mysterio a good guy at first, create molten man and hydro man as an illusion or are they really eternals??

They are rumors a character from Dark Phoenix will have a bigger role in the future of the franchise but now the real fun begins.

By the way anything disney + plus related marvel shows are “what if” scenarios, nothing continous

Nah she used Rocket’s coordinates to find the ship not random.

Dude don't worry. I am happy that you love Endgame... You should. My only point is that the film is, IMO, far from great, story wise and pacing wise. But should not matter to you at all.

That film could have been a Batman and Robin type crap fest for the first 2 hours but you should still love it because of what they did with Cap in that final battle and finishing up his story.

I get it.. I would have been the same way if they did it for Hulk..

Please Russo's Release the Avengers: Endgame - Hulk Smash Cut on blu ray so I can enjoy this film as much as everyone else. :lol

Russo’s have confirmed that there are only 10 minutes of unused footage unknown if they mean raw or finished.

Please let it be a Hulk rage moment.
