Box-office-wise, BvS had one of the biggest openings ever but also one of the worst second-weekend drop-offs ever, so CW should overtake it easily. I'm still in the (tiny) minority that prefers BvS though.

Only reason it didn't continue was they found a way to get Spidey into the MCU. I'm still bummed we won't be getting a Sinister Six or ASM3.

Yeah but if it did well they would have carried on with Sinister Six as originally intended.

The only reason I like BvS better is pure fanboyism. Can't get better than Supe and Bats.

I liked the visuals in BvS 1000 times more.

Civil War far superior in every other way.
It stays true to the characters, it gives clear motivations and arcs for all the characters and all plot elements introduced are completed

God knows I love BvS but I also feel very ambivalent towards it.

While Snyder has created such a different, interesting and mythical world in its own way, and I want to see his vision fully realized with JL and I will continue to support him because I really like what he does, I can't help but to want a reboot in the near/mid future with DC films with morals set in stone, Silver Age power and personality Superman, etc etc.

5 years or so is good, I can do that.

They can also retcon the **** out of it though.

I heard rumors that the "reborn" Superman will be sort of "soft rebooted" into a more Supermanish Superman. I won't ask you about it cause I know if you know something you probably can't say :lol

I saw BvS twice in the theatres, and will probably buy it on bluray when it comes out strictly because I'm a comic book fan who loves Batman and Superman. Personally I thought the film was too dark, and Superman was too somber.

After the RT/Box Office backlash new Superman will be about as rough as a...

It's because it follows a formula so we know what to expect to me it's WS again and with a weak as villain. When I reread the comic I realized they robbed it of its emotional punch by not doing as dark as they did including the death of cap.

They place it safe I would have loved to see winter solider actually kill war machine not just murder his parents when he is brainwashed assassin. No I did this real war real casualties not just a big playground fight because that is what it was .

A documentary on the behind-the-scenes and making of the movie would be pretty uneventful, actually.

Now, a documentary on internet fanboy reaction to the movie... THAT could be interesting.

Ken Burns would include all of it in his documentary. They could get Matt Damon to read some of the RT reviews as part of it and Keith David would do the narration of course.

Affleck could read some Faraci quotes to reflect media bias.[emoji1]
