Wow, coolest movie news I've heard in a while. I didn't think I really needed to see more of Jackson's Wolverine before, but this announcement just has me completely jazzed to see him in the role again.

Well, remember that Wade had Yukio fix Cable's time travel device, so maybe from Wolverine's perspective this will take place prior to the events of Logan. Or maybe Wade will just go back in time and kill all the bad guys from Logan, making that movie null and void lol...

Option 1) It’s Hugh Jackman just being annoyed by Deadpool
Option 2) Incursion of Fox Universe, Deadpool makes it out and every other character dies.

Prior movie plots aside, Jackman and Reynolds playing out their social media bromance as Wolverine and Deadpool in a movie is pretty much peak fourth wall breaking. This is honestly the best movie vehicle for Disney to trot out Jackman’s Wolverine again. I’d rather this than some painful Avengers team-up. He’ll hopefully get better treatment than Sir Patrick Stewart. I hope they sneak in a sequence of Jackman in a version of the tiger stripe or brown suit comic uniform.

I'm calling it right now. We see Deadpool and Wolverine get thrown into the battle of New York and they'll be photobombing the iconic scene from the first Avengers where they show them fighting side by side. Hell, I wouldn't even be surprised at this point if they got RDJ and Evans to film extra cameos, too. This movie is about to be amazing. Probably what Multiverse of Madness should have been in some ways LOL.

We've already revisited the first Avengers with Endgame, so AOU or IW would probably be more likely. Either way it should be a lot of fun to see Logan's reaction to the MCU.
