Forgot to say I did finally see this - the Dogpool entrance destroyed me. I had recently had to see my 17year old Shih-Tzu put to sleep so just was not ready to see basically a furless Shih-Tzu running in slow mo to Lady in Red!

Not a bad movie overall. With Superhero and MCU fatigue it would be fairly disposable to me though if not for Jackman playing Wolverine again.
 
Sorry to hear about your pup, a-dev. It was hard not to love that dog in the movie. And I agree with you both. This movie works for me because Jackman Wolverine works. On a related note, I saw this yesterday:

An incredible expense for something you see so briefly. Shame if they don't capitalize on it by making a damn Hot Toys figure.

The cost of movie costumes and props is insane, especially when you have people making these things in their garage on a much tighter budget
