I'm not saying PC gamers can not talk about the game - I am just wondering why it has to turn into a debate about why pc gaming is believed to be superior to console gaming.

Let's keep the discussion about THE GAME - not about pc vs console gaming.

Do we have to have this discussion of pc vs consoles in EVERY game thread? :lol

We get it...graphics look better on pc. I'm really tired of constantly seeing this discussed over and over and over. I just want to read about the game in the game thread. If I wanted to continually read about the pros of pc gaming, I would be reading the pc gaming thread. :peace

I don't see why it's a problem. I own both a PS3 and good gaming PC, and I enjoying reading everyone's take on each version. Until earlier today I was undecided on which version I was going to pick up. The discussions helped me make my final decision.

In my mind, those two things aren't mutually exclusive. If the conversation of which version is best is being discussed, it's still about the game. In many cases, there's not much of a difference between the versions except for rez and frame rate, so it's not just bragging if PC improvements are discussed.

As for me, I'll have a PC version and a 360 version.

Fine. :lol I guess I'm in the minority....I get tired having to sift through practically the same exact posts in every game thread so I can find info/trailers/reviews of the game.

It's just weird for me...because I've been reading these video game threads since I joined and it just seems lately that the discussion about pc vs. console gaming has been dominating the conversation...and it's always the same exact argument.

Oh well. I've also got a PC that has the capabilities of playing all these games.....but I like playing on consoles better. Always have. :dunno

Because no thread on SSF has ever gone off topic ever...

...and this isn't even off topic.

EDIT: I see the situation is already resolved. Nevermind. :D

I'm kind of half and half on this. It really depends on genres for me. If it is a fps PC hands down. RPG consoles. TPS I originally thought I liked it better on consoles, but Tomb Raider might have changed my mind. Anyways back on topic. This comes out tommorow! I wish I didn't have to work so I could be up at midnight playing this. Preloading the game right now!

I debated coming down with the flu on Wednesday.

When I start playing it tomorrow and have to turn it off to go to bed, that will be a sad time.

I've noticed it too. Personally, I blame Solid Snake. For this and everything thing else.

I'm a console guy too. I also have a gaming PC that is awesome to play on, but the ease, comfort and familiarity of a console is hard to beat.

Another 'Perfect' score from Gameinformer..those guys hand out 10's like they are going out of style....

I don't doubt this game will rock but their opinion means less than nothing these days

To each his own. I find my PC easy to use, comfortable, runs fine, runs every game I want. Isn't that the same for everybody and their PC's these days? lol Should be anyway...IF you are a gamer.

Since the inception of Win7, the affordable i5 or i7, and a bevy of GPU cards to choose from to fit anyones budget, having a good stable running PC, is not hard these days.

And yes, I have a PS3. It just collects dust though right now.
I'll undust it for a few games coming out this year exclusive to console, and call it a day on that console.

Used to also be that the PC games often times came out after the console version. I miss those days. :monkey3 :lol

Playing this game on HARD.
Sounds like if you want to get a more challenging experience out of it, try hard! Medium might be too easy.

I want a REASON to use the sky rails, and feel frantic in some situations. Medium sounds too easy. One reviwer said he just walked through it pretty much and died only like 3 times.

Besides hard is not even the hardest most! After you unlock 1999 mode.

Were you talking to me? You seem to be saying PC gaming is great which is what I said.
