Anyone play the 360 version? I am experiencing control issues when I use the skylines...the ability to turn around/look up down stop and happens even when I dismount on the ground...

Is this a known issue?

Completed 1999 last night! :blissy :yess:

But I missed one telescope/kinetoscope. :gah: :slap

Congrats!! I'm missing one as well and I still don't know which one it is. :(

Supposedly you are better at games when tired because you stop thinking and let instinct take over. So have some sex, smoke a j, down a hoagie than play some video games. Words to live by.

Good to know. :lol. I had played so much yesterday that at the end I was seeing double. My stigmatism goes nuts when my eyes are tired. Not so fun.

I haven't experienced that at all.

The one I missed on my first playthrough was the one right after Elizabeth tears a blimp thing for you to land on. It's on the ship docked right there.

That's a great guide for anyone trying to find one they missed - the huge plusses being pictures (which is always nicer than "turn right, walk about three seconds, look northwest, then look for the tree branch with less leaves than the others"), and easy to use on a phone.

Did you get the one before you go into the main gate of the fink factory? That's the one I missed.

Unfortunately I don't know which one I missed. But it sounds like it carries over if you start a new game so I may just blitz through it on easy.

One of the things I like about Gears is it tells you exactly which COG tags you have/need.

It does. So you're good to go with that and its what I did to get the missing sound devices as well as the missing seeing items.

I do wish they had that in this game.

Seems to be the area right before Hall of Heroes - there is a little platform with a statue in the middle right before the main area - you can see a blue salt bottle there - seems like you should be able to dismount but can't - the ability to stop moving happens around there

Finished 1999 mode today, completed all achievements :yess: I can now relax :lol

Managed to do the final battle without dying but I did that bit so many times on my normal playthrough that this time I went in with a strategy, much easier!

Loved this game, best I've played in a very long time. I also noticed a lot more signs and clues in my 2nd playthrough.

Hmmmmm..I'm not sure I remember...that's all a fuzzy memory. I know there are a few areas you can't access from the zip line..usually where snipers are perched...but that I don't remember.

Congrats! There haven't been many games where I wanted to get all the achievements, but this is one.

Cool, yeah, its a big game - almost a distant memory for me now, too

I was convinced Elizabeth was voiced by the actress from Vampire Diaries, but I was wrong...lol

Matt, when you come back down you will be able to stop at that area. After the HoH you double back to the Airship. Going up it's a quick and straght forward ride, back down you have to hop to a differant line that runs around one of the statues beind matienced. Theres a tear there where you can brind in a motorized patriot to help you.

Ah, ok cool - interesting...thanks!

Yes I did it! :yess: Managed to finish the final battle on my second try today. Now easy mode to get the last few achievements I'm missing.

That last battle was a lot easier than some of the earlier battles. I'm glad it's over though. :lol. And got the achievement for not using a Dollar machine...though I was tempted at times fighting the Siren when I was out of ammo and salts and Elizabeth was constantly searching.

Man , I don't know how I would have finished the final battle without Return to Sender. That is a lifesaver.

That made that last battle almost too easy on that difficulty.

I never knew that trick when I played before. It took me soooo many tries to finish it..and that was on easy and normal. I don't know if I could do it on 1999. The Patriots and rockets damage that core fast.

Yeah, I didn't cover it the first time on 1999. Just out it around the base but the second time I covered it and only lost just a little less than half.

Besides on the reactor (or whatever), I never really used RTS in any of my plays. I tried it, thought it was cool enough, but it never was a Vigor that got any use.
