I'm sure Sideshow didn't think people would be as psycho as they've been about the statue being done in plastic.

This whole Boba Fett issue has had more venom thrown in Sideshow's direction than anything I've seen in the past 4 years. There was nothing in the original description of the Boba Fett figure stating it was polystone!!!

As Brant has stated there is a reason the figures are called mixed media and not polystone format figures. There is nobody that can honestly say the figure looks any different than it did before.

Half you guys here have a serious entitlement issues...who the hell made you boss of how things are done?

It's the clowns on this board and Statue Forum that may cause Sideshow employees to abandon this forum and others like it. Next time we might not even find out if changes have been made at all because of the bull**** that has gone on here.

I really feel bad for people like Dusty, Brant, Chris, and Chicky who visit this board only to have ignorant and classless people attack their feedback and integrity.

This board has been completely taken over by trolls...if others agree with me I say we start a new forum somewhere else for true SIDESHOW FREAKS and rename this forum SIDESHOW CRITIQUES!

In all seriousness most of the ignorant and classless post are coming from the people DEFENDING Sideshow. Your own post would serve as a perfect example. Step away from the FanBoy koolaid and discuss things rationally or please do go form your own board where nothing negative can be said about Sideshow. Let's get one thing straight, I've been collecting Sideshow products for more than 4 years and have spent over 10K on their products because of the amazing quality. There is a reason I'm a member on the "Sideshow Freaks" board...I love their stuff....why are you here?

You seem to want to throw negativity at the company. I've been collecting long enough to trust in the decisions made to make a better product. If the Boba Fett arrives and the quality IS different that is a different story. Most people are *****ing about a product that no one has in their posession. So until Sideshow sends me a product that is lacking in quality I will continue to trust them!!!!!

So step aside junior and let the grown-ups speak!!!

The only ignorance is coming from people on this board who want to make their own conclusions on production costs, breakage in shipping, material cost, etc. Constructive criticism is healthy and warranted as long as people aren't calling Sideshow employees bone heads like others have implied.

Forgive my ignorance, but I haven't seen anyone call sideshow employees bone heads or anything of that sort. I did, however, see the insults coming from the opposition. I do agree that this discussion took a turn for the worse, but both sides are to blame.

I'm 47 years old and have spent over $3000 with Sideshow over the past two years. Do those stats qualify me? Just to let you know, I give credit where credit is due...good, bad or indifferent. You may jump on everything Sideshow puts up for sale but I for one am an educated consumer. If something Sideshow sells isn't worth the price, I won't buy it.

This debate was started when SIDESHOW threw their loyal customers a curveball when disclosing right before shipping the fact Boba was made of injected plastic instead of their previous PF mixed media materials of cloth, polystone and metal. Why did they wait till now? If they were upfront with the fact they were using injected plastic, and the price reflected the materials they were using for the final product, this debate wouldn't even be. I LOVE Sideshow's products by purchasing as much as I have over the past two years but I'm not ready to marry her and hand over the keys to the mansion just yet.

And in the spirit of fairness...the Ghost Rider Exclusives, both Biker and Old West versions were OUTSTANDING Polystone (item was hand cast yet polystone wasn't mentioned as the media) and mixed media including a metal chain for $200 each. KUDOS to Sideshow for these GREAT works at a reasonable price. Two of my most favorite pieces to date.

I will agree with you on this point...Sideshow should have notified people sooner about the change....and for that I will not add you to my list!
