Maybe it's just me...but I'm actually even more excited about receiving Fett because of this controversy. I'm very curious to see how he turns out, plastic and all, and how heavy and solid he is.

Wouldn't it be funny if he became more valuable because of this and all the cancellers missed out. That would be an ironic twist of fate....(twirls mustache)

Before my friends father died he used to call me Kooky based on that person. My friends thought he said Kookie and the name stuck. The funny thing is that I really don't know who that person was. I will look up that name, Abbie Normal...thanks!!!

Let's get one thing straight, I've been collecting Sideshow products for more than 4 years and have spent over 10K on their products because of the amazing quality. There is a reason I'm a member on the "Sideshow Freaks" board...I love their stuff....why are you here?

You seem to want to throw negativity at the company. I've been collecting long enough to trust in the decisions made to make a better product. If the Boba Fett arrives and the quality IS different that is a different story. Most people are *****ing about a product that no one has in their posession. So until Sideshow sends me a product that is lacking in quality I will continue to trust them!!!!!

I'm sure Sideshow didn't think people would be as psycho as they've been about the statue being done in plastic.

This whole Boba Fett issue has had more venom thrown in Sideshow's direction than anything I've seen in the past 4 years. There was nothing in the original description of the Boba Fett figure stating it was polystone!!!

As Brant has stated there is a reason the figures are called mixed media and not polystone format figures. There is nobody that can honestly say the figure looks any different than it did before.

Half you guys here have a serious entitlement issues...who the hell made you boss of how things are done?

It's the clowns on this board and Statue Forum that may cause Sideshow employees to abandon this forum and others like it. Next time we might not even find out if changes have been made at all because of the bull**** that has gone on here.

I really feel bad for people like Dusty, Brant, Chris, and Chicky who visit this board only to have ignorant and classless people attack their feedback and integrity.

This board has been completely taken over by trolls...if others agree with me I say we start a new forum somewhere else for true SIDESHOW FREAKS and rename this forum SIDESHOW CRITIQUES!

i don't think anyone should be calling someone else "classless" for questioning what has been done. i think classless would be more what you are doing by calling out forum members for stating their opinion good sir....or ma'am.

Its a shame that the negative side cannot except the word of SS employees. I would consider myself on the negative side about the use of ABS but would not question the word of an employee. You have to have trust between a company and its customers.

Its equally sad that legitimate concerns about the use of plastic is belittled by many of the fan boys on here. I'm betting most of them have not spent 1/4 what i have on SS products. But then i don't limit myself to SS either.

When you have spent close to $30 - $40k you might understand that I have a legitimate right to be concerned with the direction in using this ABS material.

This will be my last word on the topic as more than likely my comments will be jumped on by the FB and not defended by the administration here.

Yup, that's what I think as well. Brant has come here and said why they did what they did. Some of the ways it's been worded IMO is calling him a liar. I know Brant well enough to know this is not the case.

Just because you spend a lot of money on it doesn't make one opinion more valid.

I've spent a lot of money on SS stuff myself at least that much. The body issue is the part I kind of was suprised with. The armor makes sense. You have a right to be concerned and those concerns have been answered by SS. Everyone should be chilling out till it arrives.
