First episode of season 3 has phase 2 helmets on some of the Clones, but with the phase 1 mohawk. They look pretty cool.

I noticed this. And I really didn't think there needed to be a phase 1.5 helmet.

Nope. Which is why I'm thinking he gets the axe before they transition to Phase 2. Unless Lucas is busy re-editing the march on the Jedi temple to include some dialogue mentioning "Rex."

i remember reading somewhere that Filoni states Rex is not happy going to Phase 2 helmets-he is of the belief that if it aint broke,why fix it.So we will probably see him still with his phase 1 helmet in TCW series.

It's only a Phase 2 with a mohawk, so I'm fine without it. ARC Troopers are supposed to just be the only ones testing the designs anyway, so they're pretty much just prototypes. Maybe SDCC Commander Colt exclusive?

So $50 for 4 extra heads and a 3 3/4" figure. That's actually not the damage I thought it'd be. I'll likely PO it and make the decision come processing time.
