Uh.....do you really not get it?

Did you see Inglorious Basterds action figures in the isles of Wal-Mart? Can a child go buy a figure of "The Jew Hunter" and act out the scene where he gains immunity for his crimes?

Re: The First Avenger: Captain America Discussion Thread

I don't get it though, Inglourious Basterds, Hellboy and many other movies have not been afraid of having Nazis; why is Captain America?

Luis

Most kids also play Call of Duty which features Nazis and Nazi Zombies.

:exactly: :exactly:

Walmart would never allow Nazi Action Figures :horror

Re: The First Avenger: Captain America Discussion Thread

If a movie is compromising it's origins that make it what it is, in order to sell toys, it's probably going to be a ____ty stupid movie.

Walmart now dictates weather a movie can be good or not, awesome. People who shop there are really valued humans.

Terminator Salvation. Boom.

That's the only actual reason that movie was PG-13. Yes, there will be no Nazi's because of toys.

Re: The First Avenger: Captain America Discussion Thread

Red Skull does look pretty great. Yes, he would look more great in a Nazi uniform, but it's not the end of the world.

I see, thank you for your "explanation" although a bit sarcastic; anyhow, it all boils down to merchandising.

Well, didn't Hellboy have action figures? Not sure if they made any with the swastika.

Also, I don't think I have ever seen a Quentin Tarantino movie related toy in any store, Nazis or not Nazis. Perhaps Kill Bill, not sure if it was available in stores though.
