This is why I like Predators. They don’t say anything political and don’t discriminate.

They do descriminate! Predators don't kill pregnant women, even when they are armed. God damned misogynists! These so-called Predators are clearly a tool of the patriarchy! :p

:lol

Well, they also spare terminally ill men (unless that person is just adamant about attacking them), so my original remark about them being nondiscriminatory still stands. :p

Thor almost killed a fully gloved up Thanos in IW all by himself I wonder if they will place CM in that same position.

Personally , I think the poetry is suppose to be, that they lost to Thanos because they were still fractured from CW.

The were not really fighting together at the same time. They had quite a few hero’s fighting, but not ALL of them.

I think CM will be the “glue”’that allows the return of alternate universe “dusted” Avengers, which allows the to truly work together at the same time, to defeat Thanos before the snap....

This making money was obvious :lol

Tell that to the lonely guy in front of his computer screen rewatching Brie Larson interviews, punching his pillow in rage, and counting down the days until he can send her and her SJW friends in the MCU a message and wreck their careers, by refusing to buy one (of course he would be going alone) $11.00 ticket to the movie.

I think you just hit the nail on the head because out of all the existing theories that one just makes most sense.

I wonder where CM was when Thanos decimated Xandar.

It's a big universe. Could be she was

checking on the Skrulls at the time. Given that she was going to take them somewhere out of the Kree's reach, conversely it stands to reason that she would be out of range for communication with the Kree/Xandar section of the galaxy - i.e., she'd be blissfully unaware of the destruction taking place.

It does make one wonder if Thanos's snap affected the entire universe, or did it only wipe out 50% of the universe known to him? If Carol took the Skrulls to some unknown, uncharted corner of the universe, were they affected too? Same with the Quantam Realm - was 50% of the life there wiped out as well? I imagine there were no limits to the snap's impact in the comics, but with the MCU I'm not sure we can assume that.

To be honest, that's always the problem with this kind of grand interconnected universe approach, whenever there is a major catastrophic threat facing any particular hero or small group of heroes, the question that always lingers is "well where the f is everyone else?". There is almost never going to be a good answer for why nobody else bothered to show up in most cases, so you kind of just have to roll with it, pretty much. In truth, these films and their 'shared universe' is only ever really connected when it is convenient or deemed important enough to do so, beyond that it is best not to look too hard into strings that seem to hold it all together in my opinion. :lol

Hell, once you introduce time travel your screwed.

Why not go back and save good ol’ Quicksilver and save Banner from that gamma ray.
I am sure those guys would thank you.

I'll just post this here too...

Captain Marvel - 6.5/10

There was nothing outright bad about this movie, but I do feel like they got the wrong actress for the role, her personality varied from bland to (almost) insufferable. I was one of the people that ignored and didn't care about the social media fiasco surrounding it, but for her to have such a big mouth, I would hope she would have the acting ability and screen presence/charisma to balance it out. She does not, she feels very out of place, especially when I think of the other actors in the other marvel movies.

I wouldn't go as far as to place a "Mary-Sue" title on her. But she seems way overpowered. She's superman without the pesky kryptonite allergy.

I really enjoyed much of the rest of the cast, and can't really think of any other weak links in the chain. I especially enjoyed SLJ and Jude Law.

I guess I need to go back and watch some of the other movies again, because one plot point, that I don't want to spoil (thanks tapatalk), confused me.

The movie was also too long and really could have benefited from losing 10 minutes or so.

:lol :exactly:

7/10 for me. Solid movie. Some serious liberties taken with the source material but I enjoyed the movie overall. Bring on Endgame!

I know the movie sucked and it was all about showcasing Halle Berry’s ****s but technically Catwoman was a female lead superhero movie with a black lead no less!

Hey Storm does have her famous “get hit by lightning” line of dialogue :lol

That line may have been the most groan-worthy in (pre-Martha) cinematic history. I don't think Halle Berry got enough credit for her ability to regroup & win an Oscar after having to deliver that one! :lol
