To me the highest priority is not the pose nor accuracy, but the paint quality. You can have the best pose and accuracy but if it's painted like some of sideshow crap with spills & bleeds all over the place, unstraight lines, and/or color spots, nothing else even matters.

It's all about the paint!

I Partly agree with you. The paint is indeed important, but the pose is (for me) also a factor. If a company made a killer Darth Vader paint wise, but the pose is like the is taking a dump I wouldn't get it. :peace

Exactly ......1/3 against 1/6 madness jajajaja

Yeah Vader is tall, but not THAT tall :lol

Who's the statue on the left?

Who's the statue on the left?

That is a display from someone on RPF, it's a display in progress, the guy knows the belt is rotated on Vader and there are pics with it in the right way. ;) That is also a Republic Commando armor on the left but is not finished so there is a naked mannequin hanging around. :D But in the end I would like that rotated belt Vader on light base than any CM piece. Too bad my space won't allow for another 1:1 statue/mannequin.

If all goes well I should have vader in the house this week, very excited as this to me is amazing, can't wait , by experience of owning cms , the only thing I can see that will not be up to par , from the comicon, will be the eyes as we all know , but really can't wait to get this

please share some pics when in house...

Eh, congrats to anyone getting one, but I'm pretty happy with my Vader PF. As a side note, it appears that his saber is nearly white when it's not turned on. That would be a problem for me, considering that I hardly ever actually use the light-up features on my statues.

I used to have the vader pf, but when I heard this was fling to be made it was history, the cm is expensive but very amazing , to me it is the vader to own, but it comes down to what your happy with , and the pf is very cool as well

Well guys I am very happy with my vader it is just so cool and the size is very impressive , the head sculpt is very cool , Wang did a great job on this , I actually have no issue with the helmet once in hand as I had in the past , it really is cool . Very happy with my purchase

What do you think of the paint job on the human head? I know CMQs look very different in photos, but it seems like there's minimal paint on the portrait?

I didn't know this was on the horizon - my order status says "2 months", but it also says that for Indiana Jones...

It's actually very good , the camera just makes it look washed out more so then in person, agreed the cms had a bit more but this is not bad at all
