Congrats on the purchase. Quick question, you think if I went and ordered one I would still have a shot at securing one?

(this is the only piece I will consider spending this money on, other than a custom)

thanks.

looks pretty cool,a really well done piece. One thing I noticed though, no chain around his neck connecting the cape?

I think you will be on a waiting list , but I would do it if you really want to have a chance , as you know you don't get charged until it's ready to ship

such a beautiful piece. I'd be happy if the new Vader PF was in a similar pose. It just blows the original one out of the water IMO

this looks really good. I really love the pose and the base! congrats to you all getting it.

Like verbal said, i hope the next PF of Vader has a similar pose

The quality of build looks beautiful.

Overall, very nice, but the helmet sits too high - and on an odd angle - for my liking.

It doesn't bother me....the mere fact that this vader looks far better than any other figural one to-date is good enough for me ;)...and I have most of them....except the samurai armour :(

looks great. I like the fact that the helmet goes over the HS so you don't have to take it off to put the helmet on unlike the SS Vader bust.

Congrats man.......looks superb!

It is a cool statue, but honestly I don't see $2000 there. It might be just me, but for that money there are many other representations of Vader you can get and more impressive and accurate.

For crying out loud, please NOOOOOOOO!! The fencing pose of this statue is not how I see Vader. And I really hope Sideshow will reelase a Vader in a more imposing stance.

The legs on this still look ____. The stance should have been closed up and this would have been mega.

I too hope the new vader pf does not have this pose, especially considering how the legs are positioned. it was a deal breaker for me.

Hopefully a 1:2 version from SS will be announced soon enough.

Show me a figural representation of Vader that's licensed, more impressive and accurate than that one -- it has to be figural...the only thing I can think of is if Legendary scale tops this...Or if they make a new lifesized figure thats prop accurate...

I like it a lot, sure the leg looks a little weird, (actually it looks even weirder cuz the tunic covers it at a certain angle that enhances the already angled leg) but the helmet (aside from a prop) is the most accurate looking sculpt I've ever seen on anything smaller than the life-sized prop...

I studied that helmet and surmised it had to have been scanned ---despite what others told me about the helmet, I learned that it was indeed scanned and output very faithfully -- I can't speak for the accoutrements on the "reveal" parts, but the face has all the baubles the prop has than can possibly survive the translation into a digital reproduction.
...Even if the GG statues were also supposedly scanned, the outputs are waaay off... or "cleaned up" heavily...

if you're talking about apples and oranges, that's another thing, but I've not seen anything around this size that looks more convincing...

Read my post again please. I never said statue.
