Congrats RJ :wave You have the PF of Sideshow?

It's possible to take a picture of your Darth Vader Cinemaquette near to the Premium Format?

Ooops sorry didn't explain myself , I actually sold it once I heard the 1/3 scale had the green light, which will once I ever here about a 1/3 iron man my 1/2 scale will be history as well lol

I am about as big a star wars statue nut as there is and I was very excited when rumors surfaced about this 2-3 years ago.

I can live with the minor inaccuracies, less detailed base, the colour of the saber etc.

But, the pose they chose just kills it for me.

I would have grabbed it if SS had not announce their new line. I know the SS version will have lots of issues as well, but I am cautiously optimistic that the pose will be more to my liking.

here is a video on the new chain , plus as you all know i normally put glass eyes on all my human cms, but i had to figure out a way that i can get the same effect without cutting into them, and this way many of you can achive the same without harming them, so by using 5 minute epoxy, gives the eyes the realistic look by creating the buld of the cornea.

I don't own the cyber darth maul PF but I'm not sure if its true florescent technology (i.e. consisting of separate inner and outer glass tubes) but obviously you can't compare a 1/5-1/4 scale piece with a 1/3 scale piece. That, and the materials used in a CM vs SS piece are totally different. Hence, the higher cost.

All power to you if you have the same satisfaction owning the Darth Maul with Mechanical Legs as opposed to the CM Vader.

Cyborg Maul's sabre does have a inner glass tube I had to break it when my first one didn't light up. It lights up in the same fashion as the CM Vader does.

No I can't compare statues in different scales, other than to say that bigger is better. Both 1/4 SS and CM's are made out of predominantly polystone and fabric I don't see any difference there....but I can compare value for money and I don't think CM's have that. All the power to you if you have enough money not to care about that.

To bad Cinemaquette doesn't offer a payment plan.:(
I would all over this if they did.

I agree with you on that payment plan bro, CM will pass you up quick if you don't have the funds when its time to ship......I recieved a random email titled (Shipping). It was like we are inspecting the statues make sure you info is still correct. I asked CM if i could push mines back to the 15 of March and the Rep was like you have until 1Mar it was the 27FEB when i called. I just took the funds from my savings and paid. They need to do business like SSC and let you know 30 days shipping then the 16 day countdown IMO.

Order No. Date Cost Status Estimated Date of Delivery List Status
xxxx 16-Feb-2012 06:21AM $2,083.01 pending 6 months Wait List

does anyone know if this means i have the statue locked, or i dont have a statue and still on the wait list? List status is wait list but it said estimated date of delivery is 6 months. Their website and the whole order process is mad confusing.

I've called and spoke to someone at Cinemaquette recently because I was interested in Darth Vader. I was told the preorder ended at the end of 2011, and there wasn't any hope of getting one directly from them unless someone canceled their order. Then the statue would go to someone on the waitlist. He said the website would allow you to sign up for the waitlist, but not to hold your breath. He also said the Cinemaquette website is undergoing a redesign, and within a couple of weeks when the new site is up, it will reflect preorder status/stock more accurately. Just passing along what I was told a couple of weeks ago.

WOW i find it hard to belive that they have sold 1000, the pred has a big folling and its a bit over 600 i think,
true that its vader but , 1000? that would be a cm record, maybe they just need to catch up with all these first orders, but the thing here is thay once they start proucuction on gillman , then maybe vader will end and all on wiat list will lose out even if there are not 1000 , i may be wrong on that, but we will see, , good luck , i was on a wait list for 6 months as well with answeres from cm that i may never get one, and then all of a sudden i got the call , so there is hope ,
