I'm sad. The email from this morning has a bundle for Loki and a Chitauri Warrior. It shows the Avengers Loki in the email, but the deal is for the one from the Dark World (no helmet).

Btw has Sideshow's shipping rates gone up? I looked on a few figures like the Square Enix Play Arts and shipping increased a few bucks, and I think on some Hot Toys it did as well

I've noticed that shipping is no longer a straight $10 like it was for so long for most of my orders.

SSC thought they could just sneak this out from under us couldn't they? Makes a lot of things far less enticing. And the coupons less useful.

We aren't used to the hosing that euros and Aussies endure. Most US online retailers ship stuff for free if you spend more than $50

My $380 Red Sonja ended up costing me $515 because I wanted the Ex.

Just complaining about the shipping as it's relative to us. Doubling in price with no notice or explanation is a big enough deal to complain about. I certainly can sympathize for those having to ship outside the US. Painful.

The new Phase 2 Captain Rex was quoted as $30 shipped to Ireland. Not too bad.

Why does Sideshow need to provide an explanation? Maybe they just decided to stop losing money on shipping. You can't UPS a HT figure for ten bucks.

I live in California about 25 min away from sideshow and I get charged $10 for a figure. I'm a shipping manager and I know for sure it's only $7 to ship a hot toy box and that's insured. They also ship ground which saves them alotta money as well.

Who asked for one? It wasn't that long ago (within the last year) that they did ship for $10. I don't have a problem with the increase because why should they lose money with the shipping?

I'm in WI so being charged around $16 or so for ship isn't bad at all. If it weren't for SSC's coupons and RP I would be ordering from BBTS and pay the sales tax and cheaper shipping.
