I still don't see what anyone is talking about regarding the head size. It may be true to a certain degree with Luke, but Maul looks pretty proportional.

I think it's fine as well. I believe it has more to do with the pics or angles of the pics. The eyes look fine again I think it's more of the pics than the sculpt.

Yep, that's exactly what it is. All I did was straighten the original photo. I'm sure someone will say they're still off. I'm just hoping to cut Chicken Little off at the pass.

Maul is short, he is not Darth Vader.

The head is perfect size for the body and the layers of clothes.

great pics melvin.... im really excited about this guy coming out. in my eyes darth maul is the first real sith 12" character. now all they need to do is get palpatine and/or dooku.

Not 'someone'. I did. But you're right, If he had a leading role in "Toy Story" he probably beat up all the other toys. Before he get's cut in half by Mr. Potato Head!

Looks amazing,possibly the best SW 12" yet from Sideshow. There's the odd small issue with the proto but the figure won't ship for months so there's plenty of time for Sideshow to fix anything.

Well, he looks awesome to say the least!!! I have no complaints.

Seriously though... We know no one is going to wait and most will still log on and order him at 6:00 PM (PT) even though they don't have too.

After all, if it's true what Sideshow said about "orders being shipped in the order they were placed"... Then the first to order will be the first to receive!

Ok Sideshow, he looks fantastic! But now we need 12" Leia next, as in this year...

Most people don't have symmetrical faces. So maybe Ray Park has one eye slightly lower than the other.

Maul's eyes are really a focal point of the character, which is why it is necessary that these are done correctly in the final figures. In that pic where the head was straightened, they aren't sculpted unevenly, but the paintjob has the "lazy eye" effect that I and now others have noticed. Again, since the paint will vary in the final figure, I'm hoping that this is just an error on the preview we're being shown, and I think it's safe to say that they'll probably take notable time to make the eyes excellent on the final figure.
