It's only weighs 35lbs?
That is light, probably just an estimate.

spent the past few days lookin for the 1:1 scale darth maul bust, lost a few auctions on the bay bidding on the few that where floating round.. asked a couple of guys for help in finding one, thay pointed me in the direction of here and rebelscum.. where i spent most of today signing up to and routing round in your small ads and posting wanted ads and all i can say is "THANK GOD"! i didnt find one cause i would not have been able to afford this new DARTH MAUL LEGENDARY SCALE... OH MY GOD!!! MY WIFE IS GOING TO KILL ME......
GOT MINE... well ordered it...whaooooo... i dont care where it was painted or if it is truly half scale it looks F@#£ing FANTASTIC.. im sooo dead.
Just an interesting note I wanted to pass along to everyone about this piece. The one shown at Comic-Con this past July and the one shown in the current picture gallery on the site of the Darth Maul Legendary Scale Figure is an actual production piece. Just a little neat note I wanted to pass on to ya'll.

Do what I do, fill up your rooms with statues and 1:2 scales and she will not even blink an eye.

Several have mentioned the space issue with these LSF statues, and I myself am waiting to see what the Indiana Jones and possible Sauron LSFs look like and would love to own them. The thing I keep getting stuck on is how these are really just one step below 1:1. I mean there won't be a 3/4 quarter scale anything right? Once you go up from here you are at life size replicas. Then I think back 10 years and realize the full scale market was very niche, almost like Neiman Marcus type stuff. Yet somehow, slowly, I feel like we collectors have been "walked up" to this point, from statues to life size busts, to 1/4 scale PFs, and now LSF. It just seems like the natural progression that has happened. But, and I may get flamed here, people that have full scale stuff like this in their house are very well off and/or just a slight bit way too fanatical. I feel myself being pulled toward that ledge all the while saying, "but I'm not THAT guy."

i never would have thought myself to be "that guy" either. i am totally 1:6 minded... but after seeing this at SDCC, i couldn't help but play with ideas. it really is a stunning work.
You gonna order him?
no. there is a lot of great art out there that doesn't need to hang on my walls or sit on my shelves. i do love the piece, but in the end, i guess i am just not "that guy" (warrants 2K on a very large posed doll). i didn't hesitate to grab the e-fx Vader Legend helmet... so i suppose i am more "this guy".
