I don't know why, but I kind of really want them to come up with a role for Lynda Carter in this. Just for the joy of it.
????? Thanks, but no thanks lol. I’ll be more than happy with another serving of Vanessa, aka Morena Baccarin.

This was unexpected. Can't wait! I hope they stay with the R18 rating (or at the very least, an R16).

Deadpool humor is crap for 14 year olds.

Ughh we are so way overdue for a new Wolverine yet here we taking another step backwards.

He was good enough while Marvel was sorting their crap out but we are now past that.

Logan was a perfect send off for the tallest Wolverine ever can we please go forward with the freaking X-Men - Brotherhood already for crying out loud smh.

Rumour has it it'll be a Multiversal Road Trip type of thing, and that Stewart will be appearing in more flicks than just MoM. It could certainly be a sort of lead-in to Secret Wars. Which means

CLOWN KANG GANG RISE UP!

I think the whole plot of the movie should just be the question everybody’s been asking this whole time: “how will Deadpool join the MCU?” The entire thing is a Multiversal Meta Joke where Wade tries to join the MCU. The whole 9-yards. Deadpool kidnapping Kevin Feige and Bob Chapek and demanding his own ride at Magic Kingdom while a crying child with a Dole Whip and Mickey Ears cries because he’s terrified of the angry hamburger man waving a gun around and shouting expletives, Wolverine being forced to wear a padded Yellow and Blue Wolverine Halloween costume “for the fans, Wade in the writer’s room trying to conceive a solid reason for him actually joining that continuity. Hell, I’d be okay with Deadpool trying to drop into a Spider-Man or Sony movie only for a lawyer to show up like “NOPE.”

You could have him on the set of Multiverse of Madness when The Illuminati gets butchered, only he actually gets, like, horrifically mutilated in front of a Green Screen, much to the horror of Hayley Atwell, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Cumberbatch, John Krasinski, et al. Just go balls to the wall crazy with it.

Getting kind of sick of Deadpool. And Wolverine? Come on...give us something new. Not the same character, played by the same dude since Singer's X-Men...sht gets old

If only I had any interest in the Multiverse. MCU has yet to do anything interesting with it.
Well, their big bad and the one in charge is a clown, so how excited can anyone be about that? Not to mention the lack of stakes this has opened up. Everything is meaningless. I lost my interest in these flicks years back, but now I don't even care enough to sit through them after they release on BR. At best I can see myself going to watch FF assuming the casting and premise are good, but I was hyped for MoM and ended up passing on it, so...

It'd be fun and interesting for a short or a spoof movie, but considering this comes out about a year before Secret Wars, it better serve the "Grand Plan". I still can't believe they're doing the Incursions and Secret Wars when the Illuminati haven't formed and Doom and the FF are nowhere to be seen. Considering DS2 ended with an Incursion plot point, I assume DS3 is going to be one of the still unannounced projects, which leaves little room for anything else. But nooooo, let's waste time on bloody Echo...

Anyway, I'm willing to believe the rumours that this will be a multiversal trip as a way for the FoX-Verse to get a last hurrah in the lead up to Secret Wars. The whole point of that flick will be to fill it with cameos and Tobey's already been shown that he's willing to come back, so now the other big thing is bringing back the Fox characters. The DP2 X-Force will return, plus Jackman, and we'll get Stewart as Xavier back again surely. Dunno about McKellen as Magneto or anyone else. Fassbender & McAvoy are possible, but it depends on whether they'd want to use them for other roles down the line. Either way, they could easily adapt the Messiah/Hope stuff, just swap Stryfe and Bishop for Clown Kang and make it Multiversal Travel instead of Time Travel. It could be a nifty movie, especially if you got the old Fox crew and did various alternate realities. Isaac back as Apocalypse in an AoA era, McKellen reigning in a House Of M reality, and so on.

Honestly, I got tired of Deadpool ages ago, to the point where I'm not even sure if I'd buy a dolly. I feel as if I need to because I've got so many comics/merch of him already, but a part of me just wants to throw it all away and be done with it. By the time the game and DP2 rolled around, I was done completely with him. I honestly don't really know why I liked him in the first place. Mostly it was the costume, and the fact that the Kelly and Nicieza runs were more mature. I was never into the jokey characters much. But what Deadpool became Post-Way, the Deadpool the average person likes, is someone I just can't keep caring about. He literally keeps a stuffed unicorn he *****. What am I even doing dropping 300$ on that character? It's easy to divorce the two incarnations, but I'll be honest, I'm looking for any excuse that'll let me drop some dead weight. Between the figures and the Omnis and everything, I'm being spread too thin. But come 2024 I could be in here with my DP PO, so who knows...

X-Men wise, I'm at a stage where I could just grab a Jackedverine, a Picard Xavier, a Gandalfneto (a Fassneto too), and call it a day. I don't have much hope for the MCU X-Men, and I'm trying to focus on specific properties and incarnations of them. So I'm more excited to see Hughverine again than I am for a DP3. After al my decades of "reading" (if consuming capecomics can be called reading), I'm stuck in that 00s X-Era and this is where I'm focusing on all aspects of my X-Collecting, so it's these big guns I'd buy. Maybe a good Scott, Jean and Emma if the MCU versions aren't trash. The X-Verse is just too big, and unless you're in for another 15 year ride to get that perfect Gambit, you better start making plans now. I want to be done with this "hardcore" type of collecting by 2026 or so, and I'm most definitely not paying 2031 prices for a plastic HT Apocalypse, so just a slew of Y2K X-Men dollies and Omnis will do the trick. It's not that I love the era based on writing per se (one only needs to look at Chuck Austen's run...), but mostly because the franchise went from overexposed typical capefare to a more solid sci-fi direction, so I still retain some fondness for it, black leather and all. Claremont doesn't hold up on a re-read for me, but that's mostly because of how I've constructed the idea of the X-Men in my mind. I prefer the original "Children Of The Atom" approach rather than what Claremont reworked it into. The 00s, mostly through Ultimate, returned to that, even though they were trying to emulate the movies, which in turn doubled down on the ridiculous allegory which ended up driving the franchise into the ground. Life's weird like that.

So yeah, just give me some good, militaristic black leather and I'm happy. I genuinely prefer the uniformal approach to the haphazard, classic spandex look. For the X-Men at least. Although even something that simple is too hard to pull off for modern studios... Funny thing is, chances are this Hughverine will finally have a costume, in a twist of fate. I doubt it'll be the ridiculous comic look however (I never much liked the yellow and blue, I preferred the brown one), maybe something close to this:

Honestly, I wish somebody would do a purely Y2K aesthetic New X-Men film, but that'll never happen...

He'll probably be in it for 10 minutes and that will be it, but I am happy to see Hugh back in the role.

MCU X-Men is going to end up rubbish anyway. Times have changed since The Avengers came out, they won't make the X-Men team as close to comic accurate now.

I don't see him doing a long-term Wolverine. He'll probably be a variant that dies or stays in his universe.

What everyone now wants to see, yes it will be fun/y!
Although I like the Deadpool films, I couldn't give a $#! about Reynolds self-hype drama non-event that is Deadpool vs Wolverine. The ultimate MCU live action vs. I would still really want to see is Hulk vs Wolverine.

Just put Jackman in the classic costume, have him slice off some heads and I'll be happy.

Yeah, I'm pretty bored with superhero flicks already, it seems to be Hollywood's default position of recent years. Put men/woman in costumes and get them in front of the green screen, then watch the $$$ roll in.

Hey as long as this movie an excuse for wolverine to fight hulk I’m good.
