I think people just go in, and when they get out they've already forgotten they ever watched it.

It's like magic.

I thought Whedon, Wright and DuVernay leaving would make the suits second-guess Feige's methods but the guy keeps delivering solid BO returns off safe summer fare.

Until one of these MCU films tanks, there won't be a call to action for a return to form (like what happened with FOX as Rothman exited)

All I seem to be reading are complaints about this movie, especially the humor. Usually the first week Marvelites come in here and splooge on everyone that this is the best movie ever. Haven't heard that. Except from you now.

I just want to know if this is a good Marvel movie (like Winter Soldier and Guardians) or a weak Marvel movie (like Ultron and IM 3).
It's formulaic so it's predictable which is common for most marvel movies frankly they are beginning to feel like episodes in a TV show more then movie .

I wish these movies would begin to embrace a more complex tone. Not sure how to explain it for instance the up coming Wonder Woman movie could be a great war movie with elements of comic book movie , a movie with strong horror notes with elements of comic book. Just change it up it their are a lot of great plots and stories already out their and they can have that as the foundation and around it build up the comic book element

Agree. Marvel movies are like fake breasts. They look good, they all look the same, they all feel the same. It's fake and false. It's an expensive product made to steal your attention for a few seconds, but to be lingered with.

DCCU are real breasts - they might be strange and different and even awkward, but at least they feel real.

I will see GotG 2 in cinema, but the rest of the marvel will be the TV. Unless they'll let Shane Black do one more...

Many here will appreciate you explaining how the female breast feels.

Haha yes I know it's a summer block buster movie, but even the comics themselves handle topics much more controversial then their movies I know they play it safe, but like the reveal about the ancient one that could have had far more impact. Don't get me started on civil war that was a shadow of what it was in the comic they really broke ground in that comic it's a shame to have it watered down in the movie

I honestly feel like they should just play a disclaimer before the movies start that states:

"The following film is NOT for mature audiences. If you were expecting something even remotely serious, now's your chance to bail."
