My medicom day 5 Bauer arrived today - arm broken. Fortunately I only wanted the clothes or else I'd be extremely pissed off.

Just noticed it says on the box "Perfect realization of the character''.....hmmm.

Just get mine!! Don't have time to play with him so just take a quick look. Jack has best head sculpt ever met in my life, seriously.

Tony could be interesting. I would be more interested in a Nina Myers. I think a villain would be a nice change, and I think Nina and Jack exchanging deathly stares on the shelf would be great.

If I could set the Enterbay 24 lineup, I'd like to see the following figures ...

I'd take Chase and Tony from Wave 2 ahead of a new Jack.

Perhaps. But, I figure they'll need to have a new Jack figure in every release to keep people interested. Bauer is clearly going to be the biggest draw of the line. Doing a Jack in a suit or in his Season 3 leather jacket would be good also.

I also thought maybe a Chloe O'Brien, Bill Buchanan, Kim Bauer, Aaron Pierce or Michelle Dessler might be worthwhile.

I can't believe you didn't put President Logan in that 'wave' line up?!?

They should do a whole boring politicos line. Logan, President Keeler, Sherry Palmer, Mike Novick, Wayne Palmer, Martha Logan, VP Noah Daniels, President Taylor, Karen Hayes, Ethan Kanin, Roger Stanton, Olivia Taylor, Ryan Chappelle (with removable head).

Everybody's figure display could look like a cabinet meeting -- bunch of people in suits with fountain pens and no other accessories (other than Chappelle's removable head).

After just buying the medicom one I kinda hope they don't do season 5 jack. Of course it'd be my tough luck if they did.

Well I cancelled Palmer so I don't know how I could justify to myself buying other characters such as all the ones SnakeDoctor listed. I fear my completist tendencies would come back into play and I'd (again) regret cancelling Palmer.

Really though whats the likelihood that Enterbay would make that many figures? I can't see it. Maybe a Tony almeida and other versions of Jack but it seems unlikely to me that they'd make Nina, Logan, Pierce, Curtis, Chase etc.

I actually didn't get the Palmer -- not too fond of the guy-in-a-suit figures. I think I'd be likely to buy a Tony Almeida, Renee Walker, and various Bauer incarnations. I think Chloe would go over well because of her cult popularity -- but I wouldn't buy a computer-analyst figure (though there was that one episode where she shot a guy with a sniper rifle).

As for Chase, Manning, Nina, Pierce, etc. -- it'd depend on the figure, but I suspect those would be far less popular than several Bauers or an Almeida would. Chase and Manning were at least ops guys, so they would be more interesting than Palmer was.

I would guess that they would make at least an Almeida figure. After that, probably not many more (other than Jack in a different getup) -- though I think the chick that plays Renee Walker has just been renewed for Season 8, so she may become figure-worthy.

Characters' on 24 have such a short life-span that there end up being a lot of minor characters, and very few major ones -- thus, very few that would be a "must-have" figure. On top of that, some of the "major" characters are politicians or bureaucrats ... two categories which do not lend themselves well to action figures.

I'd actually like it if someone did a 3 3/4 or 6 inch line of 24 figures -- but I suppose that is wishful thinking. Maybe when they get to making movies.

Logan was probably one of the most interesting characters in all Days and was prominent in, my mind, the best Day of 24.

Me implying I would like a Logan figure and you jumping a mile to saying producing all the other figs you mentioned above is ridiculous.

One Jack is enough to over 225 people in less than one week (that's Bauer's current kill count). Now, just imagine what an army of Jacks can do

I wouldn't deny that Logan was an interesting character. But, for me, you need an interesting and active character for an action figure. That's why most of my selections were ops agents (villains would be good, but are problematic in 24 because so few of them live long enough to be noteworthy).

If I were making 24 figures, I wouldn't choose very many from the political sphere. To me, even the greatest guy-in-a-suit characters don't make great figures (except in those few cases where an ops agent wears a suit). Palmer, maybe. Logan, maybe. The rest, eh. I didn't buy Palmer, and probably wouldn't buy Logan or many of the other political characters on 24.

Are the Enterbay heads compatible any other body? I am thinking of getting just the Palmer head sculpt and making my own version of him.
