I just bought this set the other day, haven't got it yet and can't vouch for the quality or if it's the same as Jack uses but went ahead anyway. And just looking now it appears as if I got the last one!

Hey Sol--
Got the set today and the quality is top notch! Working spring loaded slides and movable switches, also nice paint work, very nice weapons! The only thing is the USP isn't the compact model and it has a gray/sliver slide. Nothing a little paint can't fix though, that's if I choose to go that route. Right now I just have some various weapons at Jack's feet, you know, from dead terrorists!

I just picked up season 5 and 6 today. I'm now have all the seasons released and am ready to start a 24 watching marathon.

He is signed up for an 8th season at least, unless it was a lie to throw us off. When Jack dies, the show dies with him.

Starkwood has to have a cure. You know, in case Jon Voight ever got exposed. Jack just takes his antidote, crisis averted.

We all know Jack is the ONLY safe character on the show. Aaron is a maybe. The fact he is the only other character to appear in every season does make him seem more important than meets the eye. But the point is they will only kill of Jack if they are going to end the show, and I just don't see that happening anytime soon.

Hey, sorry I didn't see your message earlier - thanks for the reply! Spring loaded sides huh? That USP sounds awesome - I'll see if I can hunt one down! It doesn't bother me that it's not the compact model, just as long as it's a USP. And you're right, paint will be able to fix the silver sides.

I'm also hunting down a few weapons for my Bauer figure . Well, I've decided to hunt down every single weapon that Jack has ever used (in 1/6). Yeah, it's pretty insane, but I think I'll be able to get it done, eventually... I hope....

That actually makes sense. Perhaps I should hold off on that plan to send a threatening email to the 24 producers...

Yeah, there's got to be an antidote. But, I just hope that Jack doesn't suffer from any sort of permanent handicap (or debilitating ailments) in any future episodes of 24. We'll see how things play out... *crossing my fingers, and hoping for the best*

There can be another solution! Maybe Jack will die over a certain amount of time! Exposure was minimal and don't forget that for the first time, season 8 will start only a few weeks after season 7!

I think they said the virus killed in 1-3 days though, so that wouldn't work. He'd be fine for the next 8 hours at least.

Actually it [the lapel pin] is printed on the jacket. Like an iron-on.

It looks like the new Cop Joker figure has an actual lapel pin that you may be able to move to the David Palmer figure.

It looks like the new Cop Joker figure has an actual lapel pin that you may be able to move to the David Palmer figure.

And people though buying Medicoms season 5 Jack for his outfit was paying way over the odds for what was actually needed - although i suppose he may get parted out !

Haha! I actually meant either a parted-out version, or buying the Police Joker for the accompanying "purple suit" version, and then swiping the lapel pin off the police officer uniform that may remain boxed.

I realy hate Enterbay right now, they make all this fuzz with their packaging and they can't put a little more of their crappy toilet paper over his head to protect the paint?

I hope Jack will have a white nose in season 8 so my figure can be screen accurate...

Still waiting for my Jack from Joe. Hope I don't get one with a scuffed up nose and broken ankle. BTW, about the DVD people are getting, are the DVD's full screen or wide screen?
I don't own any seasons just the Redemption DVD and I wanted to purchase seasons 1-6 online. $55 for full screen or $64 or $52 for widescreen. Here's a link if anyone else is interested.
