I think I've found the Kato set I will buy if I decide to. The seller might be desperate enough to lower the price if I asked. It's been relisted how many times There are few things stopping me though.

- I only really want the head sculpt
- I didn't really watch Green Hornet
- I don't know if the hairpiece for this 'Game Of Death' set will fit the Kato head sculpt without modding
- I might be able to spend the money on something else I want

I'm still deciding

The sculpt + outfit in that set are so good I think it's criminal if you don't display it

I would have been pissed if I got the HK Regular set from the first batch and I did not get it but someone else who got the HK Regular set got a free extra 3rd. head... That is the point I am trying to make here

Btw, that Kato set you where talking about. Was that the one that was offered for about US$200 on eBay just recently (that ended without any bidders) ? I think it was a US army guy that sold it there...

Thanks Rogerbee~ yeah I did notice those minor flaws in my shots as well, I have that chest stain on his back too. Gonna grab an extra body down the road so no biggie I guess.

I'm pretty easy to please so the brows don't bother me as well cos as long as they look good to me in hand, I'm good ....of cos I won't rule out doing simple touch-ups after viewing all the nice custom pics here.

You're happy and that's what counts. I'm glad mine only had the mark on the back as that is the area I pay the least attention.

I was looking at the eyebrows on the smiley & thinking that it looked darker/better than the one I own.

Good eyebrow paint app on the head sculpts might be random. I see Rory's BD head sculpt's eyebrows are thicker/darker/better, & now I see a similar eyebrow thing with Aeumuse's smiley.

The brows on Rorywan's are so good because he repainted the whole sculpt. That's how every BD head should look.

Would be kinda cool if it came in it's own little collectors box & had a 'limited edition' # & COA on it

Would they really only make 300 though? Is it really like EB to put in extra work to make these, especially giving them away, basically for free, to Beijing set buyers? I don't think it was in the Beijing set specs, so they didn't have to right? It's a pretty good gesture from EB, for Beijing set buyers, if it is a limited release head.

Perhaps it will eventually be sold separately later by EB. Who knows When the 3rd head becomes available to Beijing set buyers, I can picture another exclusive set, at another convention/expo, having the 3rd head replace the BD head.

The one I'm looking at is from a seller here on an auction site in my country. It's only for us here & I think (maybe) Australians are allowed to use this auction site as well if they have a bank account here

I think I can get it for around $270US with maybe (not sure) $5-10 shipping. But it's been relisted numerous times. So I might try to lower the price some more. I've talked with the seller & he says he's been trying to sell it, but nobody is buying I don't think this hobby is as big here as it is overseas. I'll name all the people I know out of all my friends, family, & relatives here, who are collecting these figures .....

I repainted the lips, added shadows around the mouth, nose and chin.
And repainted around his eyes. Changed the blood on lips.
I didn't touch the eyebrows or bruises.

I think some are darker than others. These ones were fine as they were.

So the gesture is from Bei, not EB. This is an agreement between Bill and Bei - which he made very clear to me just now when I e-mail Bei again about this 3rd. head. Because this Beijing set is limited to only 300 qty, then it should only be 300 (plus maybe a few more extra to exchange for any defect once) - but of course Bei has no control over EB or if would make a few extra to give to some VIP Exclusive members or not... It is EB who has the control over the actual production. If it is sold later on then at least we who bought the Beijing set will get it for free - without having to pay anything extra. Again, the bottom line is that this 3rd. head is being made as an exclusive extra head to the Beijing set.

Do not pre-order or maybe end it you get nothing but lose money.

The item is produced in North China and if the order they got is not as much as they wanted. They will cancel the order and do not produce, in that case, you will loss your money in pre-order.

Personally, I can't see what EB's beef is as they're not rip-off's or copies of theirs, they're just 1/6 Ontisukas as far as I know.

Wow ..... I didn't realise GB was that influential on the making of the 3rd head. That guy needs a pat on the back. I received an email from him not long ago saying that he will ship the broken body he had replaced for me, free of charge. So I only paid shipping one way. He basically took care of the rest. I was thinking I was going to pay for return shipping, but GB had my back

I think the fact that these custom shoes are taking away potential profits from EB are a problem for EB. Also, EB & Onitsuka might have an agreement with each other that we don't know about, so that might be another problem
