I really don't like that when someone quotes Flosi, that it still shows up as his stupid quasi new name.

There is a cool hidden mall in Tokyo with tons of toy collectible shops. I spent hours in there. I'll be damned if I remember where though... It was upstairs somewhere, above a street full of casinos. Have fun! Tokyo Disneyland also had different Star Tours droids than any other Disney park. I had a blast there...

Your job sounds awesome. I kept going to the UK over and over, and Germany once. Otherwise, nowhere too exciting for work, but I have traveled a lot... Prague is beautiful, and very cheap (at least it was when I was there in 1991). I bought a Spider-man comic in Czech language, but it was stolen from me. I never got to take it home... Cairo, Egypt is the most filthy dirty disgusting and dangerous place I have ever been. I do not recommend going there unless part of an organized tour group. That being said, I have MANY stories to tell from that trip. Most are bad though. But tons of memories...
Cool, I can't rationalize the cost for Disney Tokyo when there is so much other stuff I could do.

For Egypt yeah I expect trouble a point but kind of use to it. I do plan to use a tour group there.

Thanks Titus. I'm not sure if you recall the crap I went through with my dad being a giant piece of trash last year, but I was trying to enjoy my normal half-day afternoon off from work on Thursday when I got a call from my mom saying that she found letters hidden underneath his spare tire in the trunk of his car. He had said since we first found out that he didn't go beyond a certain point in this relationship with this married woman, but these letters from her were really disgusting and proved he'd lied to my mom and my family all this time. I basically snapped and went over to their house yelled him and even smacked him around a bit Thursday afternoon. Took Friday and Saturday to be with my mom and support her. Ended the weekend on Sunday by having my dad make copies of the letters and phone records then I had to take him to track down their house. I made him knock on the door and apologize to the woman's husband for what he did to his family and give him the copies of the letters and phone records while I stood there to make sure he went through with it. I feel like I'm the parent and he's my stupid son.

Well, my mom seems to feel better now that she has a little closure. It took a lot out of me, though. Haven't really been the same since this all started.

Yeah, they stuck together. My mom still seems to want to keep it together. Says that since he faced his demons he's acting like himself again. I told her from the beginning that she could stay with me and I said it again, but she keeps saying she doesn't want to put that burden on me. Doesn't really give me any closure, but I did it for my mom. She's already weakened by this, didn't want her to have to go through that.

You're a good son, taking care and watching out for your Mom like that. I am sure the vast majority of children wouldn't step up to their fathers like you did. Good on you Ben! That's a terrible situation to be in, hoping the best for you and your Mom.

Oh, and no prostitutes for me. I've dealt with a couple of whores in the past year and I think I've had enough.

:(

I started watching the RoboCop remake this morning. Seeing Batman (Keaton) and Gordon (Oldman) on screen at the same time makes me geek out a little. :panic:

That's gotta break a truckstop worker's heart.
Doubt it. They are hollow shells. No heart. No soul. Just meat sacks.

I dig that movie, I think everyone hated it, but I thought it was good.

Don't worry, I'll be fine but thank you. :1-1:

It means a lot that you guys could care so much about someone like me that you've never even met.

No way! Congrats, Steve! I'll gladly download it. :hi5:

I hope to one day finally meet you in person for sure. I've known you forever.

Thanks man. Took a bit longer than I thought, as life gets in the way, but hoping it gets a bit of a following at least.

Wow man. Good on you. Hope things get better for them and he straightens up.

It's funny cause Oldman made a great Gordon. I don't even remember Keaton Batman's Gordon at all. :lol :lol

Does Gaurdians of the Galaxy take place at roughly the same time as the end of the Avengers?

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Touching tribute for Robin Williams from the Disney and the animator that created Genie. :monkey2

I think so, KD. It's after the events of New York, maybe?

It takes place after The Avengers. They hint at it when Ronan meets with Thanos.

Its essentially the same scene from the end of the Avengers right, just extended past when Thanos turns and smiles?
