I have one myself, and I have to agree this piece is very underrated.

Yes the costumes are indeed amazing! I would love a Lurtz as well, I think that one is one of the best PF's that Sideshow has done. What's your opinion on the Frodo PF, really not sure about that one.

Frodo is like GTW because they are both so underated and I am not just saying that because I am a huge LOTR fan. Everything about Frodo is amazing from the dwarf skull on the base to the one ring! Frodo only gets nagged on because of the paint I think, which really is not that bad in hand. You can find him fairly cheap nowadays so if you can you should really jump on it. It is an amazing piece. Also I think the sculpt is pretty much spot on EW.

I agree on that. The problem with many of the Frodo PF's is the paintjob I think. I saw a couple of them that I didn't like, untill I saw the one I finally bought. The original SS pictures really don't do this piece any justice.

I have frodo also and I think he is great..The details in the base and costume are very well done...Definately underated..

Gimli would be awesome as well. I don't think the Galadriel PF was the greatest choice by Sideshow...I think there were other better characters that could have filled her spot, like Legolas and Gimli....even an Arwen or Elrond.....or even Boromir or Faramir.

Gimli would be cool, but I prefer Saruman or an Orc. Of the fellowship, Gimli and Boromir would be coolest; think about a Dying Boromir, to display along the fighting Lurtz and Aragorn! :chew

Sam is a must and will look amazing next to Frodo.

Picked up Gandalf for $155 brand new. I hadn't planned to get him, but it's hard to say no to that price. He's actually pretty nice. It's disappointing that the head sculpt isn't as good as the mini-bust, but it's a reasonably good rendition of GTW just the same.

I noticed that the right hand on mine seems to be in a different position than what is shown on the box. Does anyone else have the regular, and if so what does your right hand look like?

Yeah I noticed that myself, the hand is turned down on my Gandalf (Like yours) but is at a weird twisted angle on the box! It must have been a last minute change for them not to alter the box...but it is a good change IMO!

I heard that before. The hand attatched to the regular edition seems to be different from the hand that comes with the esclusive...

Picked up the other cheap reg from DSC. I like the piece although the peg that holds the hand in with the staff is a ^^^^^ to keep in....has to be wedged against the base. Although I like it I'm seriously glad I didn't pay full price for it. Love Gandalf but would have rather a Grey PF....
