Awesome pictures are being seen here. I unfortunately had to cancel my Ex as I had other things coming in. Maybe I can get one later down the line.

Here's some pictures of mine, n° 107/500.

Best pictures I could make for the moment without flash.

I have to say it's really an a beautifull piece.
I think the likeness is very good, it's Ian McKellen as Gandalf.
The detail in the sculpt and especially on the clothes is very well done.

The only thing I find a bit strange is the pose, I don't really see what's he's doing exactly...

I finally received mine tonight and it was number 40. The exclusive really makes this one more dynamic. I really like it alot. The sculpt is much better in person.

All right...I just finished taking a massive amount of pictures, with varying lighting conditions...and I want to say something here...

The likeness of Ian McKellen is good...with one major exception. That exception is hair, both facial and otherwise. The fact that the beard is sculpted (pretty much had to be) makes this a difficult likeness to obtain. I know I am in the minority here...but the facial sculpt work looks very much like Ian...

Well I got mine today and I gotta say I love it. Is it perfect, no. But it's really damn good. The costume is the most amazing I've ever seen on a PF EVER!!! It blows any away other PF I've seen. Part of the reason why I was so excited about this line to start with.

The sculpt is good, but not great. The beard is a bit thick (just not as good as the SSW). I actually love the pose and think it looks great with the way the cape lays.

All in all, I'm very happy with the way this piece looks and am more than happy to add it to my collection.

this was the best comment ever in this thread

I passed this PF as I am not 100 % happy with the beard, the likeness, the body and the pose

Hey everyone, I just received my Gandalf the White EX PF so I figured it was time to revive this thread. I wanted to post my impressions and some pictures for those who are still on the fence about this one. I'm gonna tell you that in my humble opinion this piece does not disappoint. It's really an incredible statue, ok I'll admit the likeness isn't 100% perfect, buts its damn close, and It's Gandalf, there's no denying that. The outfit is simply amazing, can't believe the detail that was put into this. Granted this is my first PF, so I might be gushing a bit, but nevertheless I can't fault the quality of this statue. So for those who are still skeptical my honest opinion is yes this is definitely worth it. At 500 pieces and being the EX on a second chance as it is, I didn't want to miss out on this. Enjoy the photos, hope the quality is good. Oh and I received #20 of 500, so I was pretty happy about that. :D :chew

Here's a low-light experiment; the only illumination came from the TV about five feet behind the figure.
