I didn't realize how quick the release date is creeping up. Hopefully, I'll be able to check this out next weekend. Looks like a lot of fun. I really liked the first, so I'll definitely give this a try.

he is a HUGE fan of Ghost rider and the first movie was made in the first place because he is such a big fan, I think the first one they were running out of budget and he even helped to get it made, that's how much he wanted it to be made

Where did you read that? I thought it made little money if at all. I would have said the sequel came more likely cause of the money they spent on the licience and not producing this film when they did the rights would have gone back, rather than it being that the first was a money maker for them, but I don't believe it was. I LIKED the first movie, but with the second movie I being a little more hopefully than just liked the movie. Just hope there is no delays with the movie coming to the middle east.

I look at a movie like this the same way I do at like a friday the 13th sequel or something. I feel like reviewers go into something like this expecting like some dramatic oscar worthy drama about world war II or something. so when they review it, they start to review the genre more than the actual movie itself.

I liked the crank movies...and I even thought gamer was sorta fun. Knowing the directors...I don't think this will be too far off from that sort of darker comedy action movies they make. And I think cage actually does want to do well and he puts the work in.

whatever...I bet itll be better than punisher war zone at least.

The only reason it was green lit was because Sony was going to lose the rights at which point they would revert back to Disney, who now owns most of the Marvel properties.

DC is a subsidiary of Warner bros. The companies are basically one in the same. So there would be no need to return the rights...They already have them.

237 million box office. The studio will only see around 50% of that money, the rest going to the cinemas that sold the tickets. You take in the cost of promoting the film as well, that is not included in the budget and that would eat up all of the box office return. Only money they would have made was from DVD sales and Merchandise, which won't be a great deal but glad we are getting a chance for a second better movie.
