I wasn't a fan of the Japanese black mask. Hoping that he gets his black skull mask at some point. I'm also curious if Tommy is gonna try to be Bruce's best friend now like in the comics. I've seen that happen a few times with kids. Kid kicks bullies *** and the bully ends up becoming his friend.

The way I look at it is Alfred is old school in every way. He's not your traditional butler in any sense. He seems like the type of guy who would encourage you to stand up for yourself, not go and tell a teacher. On top of that, every iteration of Alfred loved Thomas and Martha Wayne very much. So hearing someone speaking ill of his family probably made him wanna beat the kid himself.

I like that Alfred acts like an ex-military man. It's a cool take. That wasn't really so much my issue with the scene. It was more the fact that it highlighted Bruce's upper class status. But it was uncomfortable... but not necessarily in a bad way. I thought it actually kind of highlighted something interesting I'd not really thought about before.

I didn't really think there was any underdog in the scenario. Elliot was wealthy, as well, so, it wasn't like the rich kid drove over to the poor kid's house to beat the hell out of him.

His name was Richard? Whoops. I thought they said his name was Roman. As soon as I heard Sionis I just jumped to Roman. I guess I could see him being Romans old man.

On one hand, the dude playing Harvey is like 35. On the other hand, the dude's got a baby face, and he's probably playing the role ten years younger, which would make Harvey about 13 years older than Bruce. That's not too bad.

Maybe this show is just all over the place. Just using characters but not keeping them in any type of a timeline.

I wasn't talking about that specific situation, though. I was talking about in general - in life. His parents died. It's tragic. But unlike the thousands of other kids in similar scenarios throughout Gotham, Bruce doesn't have to worry about going to a home or being bounced around to various foster homes or being stuck with a relative who doesn't want him. He's got a ton of resources at his disposal. It's just an interesting thought, I think, when considering who Bruce is and who he will become.

As far as introducing batman villains too soon, the truth is it really doesn't matter. We've been told we won't see Batman, right? So, the show never has to deal with the fall out of having Batman beating up a bunch of 50 year olds. :D

I thought they were done with that stupid lesbian crap, the Montoya chick is not even hot. Also, this show makes cops look like Mr. Magoos, damn they are dumb.
