I read that earlier this morning.

CANCELLING PUSHING DAISIES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :banghead:banghead:banghead:banghead

One of the ONLY good shows that ABC has, well they are stupid.

I love Daisies, but it was amazing that it survived as long as it did. Hopefully they'll give Fuller a chance to revitalize Heroes before yanking that one. Not that I hate this season.

I kind of like what they're doing with Sylar and Elle - like 2 dysfunctional children that can only get along with each other and no one else.

Man tonight's episode was great!!
Finally all the stuff we had to put up with is paying off!
For the first time ever I'm liking Elle!! How about that...??
Seems like Sylar is back being a badass!
And the whole HRG training Claire was pretty neat too...
can't wait for Part 2...

im having mixed feelings about sylar. i liked where they were taking him, and now he just suddenly had a random change of character out of the blue. i hope he goes back to taking control of his powers again, as i felt him being remorseful for his actions helped add some depth to his character. this episode im not too sure on, there were bits i really liked, like the whole Noah/Claire stuff. then again there were also parts that just made me want to turn it off, like the parkman/hiro bits. hopefully theyll show more purpose in the next episode, because right now it seems like there still isnt really any huge goal for this season.

Agreed. It makes me sad when shows like that are canceled. what it basically comes down to is that the majority of people in this country are rather stupid and "don't understand" the show.

Apparently Chuck and Life on Mars are in the same boat....both shows that I love!

I thought last night's episode was excellent, I can't wait to see how everything gets resolved. And if there's an actor's strike I'm going to cry about having another truncated season of Heroes. Especially if this is the last one.

:lol I'll confess the eclipse thing does bother me a little bit given that I don't think two occur in the same hemisphere within less than a year. Although I could be wrong. But heck if I'm going to believe in a girl who can heal and a guy who can fly etc. why not buy the eclipse too?

Yeah, it sure is! Not to mention its the only eclipse apparently that people can stare at without burning out thier retinas! Awesome!

More than that, is that eclipses only appear to certain parts of the Earth. The ENTIRE planet would NOT get an eclipse, it's impossible.

Guys, it's a show that features time-travel, flying people, people who can conjure fire and electricity, etc, etc... and you're going to get caught up on the realism of how the eclipse is presented?

Dude, I'm willing to buy pretty much anything, but when the laws of physics get thrown out the window for the convenience of a plot device, I get angry. There are plenty of other situations in that show that defy logic, but I'm willing to give them a pass because, as you say, it's set in a world where people can fly and generate electricity from their hands. And grow ridiculously thick eyebrows...

But realistic laws of physics never existed on this show in the first place. They were thrown out of the window the moment Nathan Petrelli first flew. And that's fine. It's pure genre stuff.

Claire is a character, what's her name isn't horrible though - I'd say she's about on the same level with everyone else on the show.

The eclipse bugged me too - it's not looking at an eclipse that's dangerous, but staring straight into the sun before and after that's dangerous. Just glancing up isn't going to do anything. But the fact that it takes so long - eclipses don't take that long, not even full ones. And you wouldn't have a full eclipse in Haiti and in Kansas at the same time.

Perhaps people can fly or read minds, we don't know for sure - but we DO know that eclipses aren't visible all over the world at the same time.

I hope that HRG blasts those 2! I love Elle (she's hot), but I'm getting tired of the good & bad side of her. First she tries to get him to be good after he takes her power in the new way and now she's evil again.

And I thought Sylar would be good now?? This show is awesome and I love it (rewatching Season 1-3 on Netflix on my 360 right now) but the story is starting to get stupid. I really don't like the Arthur storyline at all.

Elle is mentally unstable, so it works for her character to be all needy one minute and then manipulative the next.
Sylar seems to only want to please mummy - that is kind of one dimensional for him, but if he's getting a bit of an oedipal complex with Elle as a mother figure - that makes him a bit more twisted.

Finally caught up with all of it and have to say the "Villains" episode a few weeks back I loved. I absolutely geeked out seeing how it all tied to Season 1. The Eclipse thing doesn't really bother me but you have have to understand that they are cutting back and forth between things occurring at the same time so the Eclipse while long is not all that long so far.
