I just thought of something last night when Hiro and Ando were in the comic shop. If Isaac Mendez is dead, who's creating the new issues of 9th Wonders?

That's a great question. Also I've noticed that the original story that Arthur Petrelli committed suicide is also out the window even in the connection episodes.

Also, since the future in this show is not that far away, anyone seriously waiting for Peter to be scarred during this powerout time? Also the show is leading us to think of a budding relationship between Sylar and Elle, which if the future continued would be Noah Grey or Noah Petrelli, depending on how Gabriel called himself in the future, means that a ton of folks are now directly related or loosely related to the Petrelli clan.

Arthur Petrelli is married to Angela Petrelli.
Gabriel Grey, Nathan Petrelli and Peter Petrelli are their children.
Nathan Petrelli and Meredith Gordon are the parents of Claire Bennet
Flint Gordon, Jr and Meredith Gordon are siblings making him Claire's Maternal Uncle

Knowing that Kaito and Angela had an affair anyone else waiting for Hiro to be a lovechild and therefore related as well? :lol

how so? didnt they explain that angela covered it up with the haitcian?
and the isaac mendez thing, maybe he did a whole run of them and the publisher is just putting them out one at a time?
like their backlogged or something?

Didn't Angela say something about Arthur committing suicide right after she poisoned him? I figure that is just her explanation of how he was poisoned without it looking like she did it.

As for Isaac doing 9th wonders, I've wondered about that myself. If memory serves he told the delivery boy that the one with Hiro in the future was the last issue because he knew he was about to be killd by Sylar. And that issue was out when the bomb went off because that's how Hiro got it. Naturally someone else could do it, but where did they find someoe else who has visions of our Heroes?

It could be anyone with the precog ability since it's now been established that everyone illustrating with it has the same Tim Sale art style.

Mendez
Sylar
Peter
Hiro
Spirit Walk Guide
Arthur

All have painted with the same exact style. So "9th Wonders" could continue without Mendez, but I hope they reveal who it is at some point. Probably just someone else with the precog ability.

Nope. The doctor came out and told both her and Nathan he died of a heart attack before going in a telling Arthur that everything had gone according to plan. I've heard of impressive suicides but giving yourself a heart attack is definitely a new one.

who the hell is HRG and what's up with Sylar and his constant flip-flopping?? Makes his character seem like a ^^^^^.

As for Sylar, he is unstable and damaged. He is flip flopping at present time to try and prove himself as worthy to his biological parents since he could not to his adoptive. When Angela or Arthur asks he jumps. Dealing with Elle, another unstable herself, is the first time we start to see him coming into his own. He is a lot like a young teen who is finding his place in life and constantly floating seeing what fits.

I've been staying out of this discussion but have been keeping up with episodes.
So far, I'm disappointed with what they've done with the show. There was a lot of promise in the first season and a little in the second but things they have gone south since then.
I don't like how everyone is closely connected to one another, switch from bad to god or vice versa, many characters and plot points are just discarded (what happened to that girl who could mimic things she saw? ), and there's not much real character development.

If they keep this up, the show won't last another season.

Hmm, help me remember how it came about that she said he committed suicide. Maybe she was lying about it for some reason or other?

I kinda like Sylar's flip flopping, he's crazy, but not so crazy that he is beyond recognizing what he does is bad.

As for the girl with the mimicry I think her storyline was just part of Micah's and by extension Niki's storyline. Without them she doesn't have a tie to the main plot for this season. I kinda like how smaller Heroes come and go as the seasons progress.

In the first season its explained that Arthur died six months before Volume One: Genesis begins. His death is explained by his wife, Angela Petrelli, to have been a suicide brought about by delusions of grandeur and clinical depression. He is still put through cremation at this point as well.

In the Villains Episode, using the Haitian to block his powers, she asks Arthur whether he can understand her any more without his powers. Arthur appears to be having a bout with indigestion until Angela says that she poisoned his food. Arthur is taken to the hospital where Dr. Livitz tells his family he's dead. However, Dr. Livitz explains to Arthur (who is really alive) that the poison caused permanent damage to his peripheral nervous system, paralyzing him and forcing him to have to breathe through a tube. Arthur telepathically orders Dr. Livitz to use someone else's body for the cremation that Angela ordered.

This is a huge continuity break that has never been explained and/or recounted.

Weird. I'll have to go back and rewatch an episode or two and see if there are any clues.

What is weird is that according to Season One she tells Nathan and Peter about their father's death, in Season Three Nathan is with her when he "dies".

good point, i just hope peter gets his powers back and kicks some @$$
or a big fight between the heroes and villains

Oh I had forgotten she told Nathan about it. For some reason I was thinking Nathan told Peter. Maybe it is just a big continuity break. I would hve expected them to be able to catch that and avoid it since it wouldn't be that hard to do.

But heck, I'm a Star Wars fan, so what's a small thing like a continutiy break matter to me? :lol

I hope if Brian Fuller comes back he can improve this show, because it's gotten so bad. The last episode, IMO, was absolutely terrible. There's no true character development anymore. It comes off as though no one knows what they're doing.
