It's not. Look closer at the lower eyelids. Just the realism of eyelids and non symmetrical features.

Looks like the left eye is down more compared to the right.

See vodoun's reponse.

Every DX figure has had asymetrical eye openings, and in certain positions, the eyes will look crossed or misaligned. The problem is, PERS eyes are perfectly lined up, which doesn't work for human who don't have identically open eyes, and some people have it more than others. DX01 is one of the worst PERS I've seen for this effect and mostly because there's a greater difference in the openings of the eyes on that one. Some are better than others. With Keaton's squinty look, DX09 is a nice example, DX Jack Sparrow's pretty good too.

There are cases where the PERS is broken, but something like you guys are talking about is not a production error.

...in certain positions...

There is a reason I posted pics of the eyes in various positions. It has nothing to do with the shape of the eyelids. Give me more credit than that guys. I've owned 5 figures with PERS. These are not parallel.

If I can't get this head replaced, I would not feel comfortable selling it as a mint head. I would have to disclose that the eyes are effed up.

If someone has the means to post a macro shot with the eyes in more-or-less this position, we could compare:

I'm dumbfounded that anyone would suggest that's how he's supposed to look. ^^^

Dude, it looks fine, even blown up beyond scale, beyond how you would ever see it.

Oh wait....

Seriously though, it looks fine. I didn't even see it at first when I looked at the pic before I read what you wrote.

Exactly.

Appreciate a little validation.

Is it as bad as "broken PERS"? Maybe not in the eyes of some, but if I can't get a replacement and I decide to keep this head I will be breaking them intentionally so I can manipulate them independently. I will never be satisfied with a lazy eyed Joker.

I wasn't trying to be funny though... and I do understand the whole "once you see it" thing -- I do that myself -- but I was trying to alleviate the pain. I think once you get away from it for awhile it may be less of a sting. I hope.

Doesn't sting that bad.

1) I have a custom head that I really like.

2) Sideshow may agree with me and swap it.

3) Worse case scenario, I'm forced to break the PERS and it's slightly harder to pose the eyes.

However, being told I'm imagining it... doesn't sting exactly, but is frustrating.

King has a right to be upset. I would be. Especially after the bank he's sent SS over the years.

I don't see that as a issue. Take a pic of your own eyes and blow it up to a image 5 times larger and you will see differences in them. :lol

LoL! I always feel awkward talking to those type of people. You never know which eye to focus on.

I can see the email. It's out by 0.1mm. Sidehow can't even see the obvious errors far less one that requires technical drawing instruments. This forum really goes beyond an*l, folks.

Yeah the only thing that sucked about mine was the wrist peg that broke off because of the white sleeve. But here's some pictures, my eyes look perfect, but you should give up hope on trying to get a replacement part, they just sell the figures and might exchange you a brand new figure, but parts, haha I wish internet stores would help you out, but you should start making friends in Hong Kong because you literally can walk into Hot toys store and exchange what ever broken piece o defect you have on your figure, say I have a defective Pers, I mail the item to my friend, he walks into store, and does a one for one swap, problem solved. It's way better to go to the source than getting run arounds on the SC store.

Finally had a chance to sit down and play with my joker and watched the movie just in case, The thing that I did notice is when does he use the joker card?

Here's some pictures I took, hope you guys like them:
