Really?
What Forum is that?
Tron Sector?
That would be great news indeed!!

Yep, Wheat King on tron-sector.com:

As ridiculous as it sounds to you and me, it is actually a good thing for toy sales that Quorra has a pretty cool looking helmet, and uses a katana. I would rather have her without her helmet (or at least have the option...especially since she ONLY wore it when driving the Light Runner), but history tells us that the "toy" buying boys don't want feminine figures. Collectors, of course (with more interest in females ), would disagree.

In this case, leaving the helmet on also helped get approval on the figure more quickly for the early waves, because it didn't need to go through talent approval. Needless to say, development timelines on licensed brands are much more tightly compressed than on non-licensed brands, so timing can be huge. Also, I don't remember knowing ahead of time how much of the movie she spent without her helmet.

All that being said, there does exist an Olivia Wilde-approved head sculpt that looks awesome.

So, anyway, it sounds like a HT Quorra is still very possible. :)

Hmmm? This looks like the helmet has an LED in it but portions of the body looks to be glow-in-the-dark instead of actual light-up, for the price there should be a minimum of 40 LED's in the set. i'm very interested in this piece, but i haven't pre-ordered yet due to SSC's deposit, i'll wait for more in-hand pics as opposed to the Hype-Inducing preview pics that Hot Toys and Sideshow releases showing their products looking Perfect!.

I sometimes hate photoshop :gah:

I really don't know that I'll be able to resist it. Though I really hope full Sam and Clu figures are in the offing.

darn still cant tell is his suit lights up... btw loved the movie... not sure what the critics are whining about but thats for the movie thread... this stupid hobby... the whole time I was watching the movie I was like "oh this be cool as a figure from HT" .... "oh this vehicle would be kickass if HT made it"........

I'm planning on seeing it on Monday when I'm off. If I really like it, I have a feeling I'll cave on this as well.

Well, my expectations were beaten to ____. But I gotta say it was fun, and I hate (but respect) the first TRON movie. Enjoy Walla-walla-bing-bang! I think the video put it over the top for me.

I actually enjoyed the original movie. It will reside on my HD DVR until the Blu-ray comes out. :yess:

Richard... man... you are going to love it! I saw it for the second time 2 days ago (both times on IMAX) and want to see it at least once more. I rarely watch a movie more than once at the theatre. This one deserves the mutiple rides.

Man, I'm so glad I have this on pre-order. Just looking at the latest pics and that video really shows the beauty of this piece.
