btw RollingJ, sorry to ask but besides the cracked eye, why is your BD helmet has some extra paint painted on the Eyes? should it be that way or did HT make a pooper? is there any way to remove them to get a cleaner eye? sorry if you guys don't understand what I mean...

Aww man! When I saw his chest light wasn't working I just assumed I needed to juts jiggle the batteries. But after I replaced batteries, the chest light still doesn't work. You can feel a lot of heat from the batteries when the light is switched to the on position so not sure what that says.

LOL. The eye isn't cracked at all. Look at the first pic. It must be a reflection or something. The faceplate is absolutely fine, it's just a macro photo!! The paint lines are never going to look precise that close up!

lol i really don't want to be too 4n4l about it but the overlapping paint apps on the eyes of the BD helmet does get to me sometimes and no I didn't need to use magnifiers to notice them..just putting the non BD helmet side by side to it makes it noticeable.

I wouldn't count on getting one for cost, but I heavily suggest getting one sooner than later if you really want it because prices will just continue going up

Yes I have almost the same in my collection, but only 1 Mark VI Ex. Nothing from SSC about my waitlist converting for a reg Mark VI.
I just got mine (reg)from 1 month waiting in the wait list. Oh boy! It was worth the wait!!
I did ask SSC about converting to Ex. version (in my case -opposite). They said no.. they keep separate wait list, so no converting.. You can only cancel/place new order in wait list..

Funny, I placed a waitlist a couple pf days ago for the regular and the order now says "call to cancel" It could be nothing but I remain optimistic!
