It sucks to read a teaser, and I will not be posting any..but I cant get too pissed at people if it pertains to the figure. These are "Avengers" editions of the figures so it is to be expected. You cant censor everyone forever..when is the cut off? There will always be someone that has been meaning to see it and hasn't gotten around to it. If you are dropping this kind of cash on these figures..I would think you would have seen the movie by now.

I have to admit when I'm wrong, and on this figure I think I am. I was totally underwhelmed by this release prior to seeing the movie, and for that matter by the prospect of the character as well. Somehow Hawkeye was the most impressive character in the movie for me. I'm still on the fence about getting the figure because I'm poor, but if I should somehow scrape up the dough, I may get this figure someday.

I think it can be a bit of an annoyance to be honest. Threads dedicated to a new movie character toy full of spoiler tags are sort of lame. Who is it that determines when it's okay to talk about stuff from the film and what stuff from the film is okay to mention? If on May 20th, I talk about whether or not Hawkeye wore his goggles in the movie, am I spoiling the movie because one particular member hasn't seen it? Are we really supposed to wait until the movie comes out on blu-ray to mention anything that happens in the film without spoiler tags? What about the people that haven't bought the blu-ray because they're waiting for it to go on sale?

People will naturally want to speculate about certain things that they saw in the movie and how those things relate to the figure. It keeps the conversation going and belongs in the thread. I don't think it's really fair to ask people to spoiler tag everything until the movie comes out on dvd. It's a natural progression of the discussion of the figure and if people are really bothered by it, they should probably try to avoid reading new posts about this figure until they do see it. There isn't really much more to talk about except stuff like that until the figure is released anyway, so there are bound to be more posts that speculate about or mention things from the movie. That's my opinion anyway.

Those complaining about the spoilers are posting in every Avengers characters/figures threads. Whilst I don't agree with deliberate spoilers, you are inevitably going to stumble across things from the movie because you are always in the threads.

See the movie or stay away, I did until I got the chance to see it.

Anyway, I think the figure looks great so I'll pick it up.

Well thank you for the sentiment, but if I could I would. When I say (and keep saying in fact) that I am not in a position to...I mean it.

When you have your own wife and son to care for, but are also helping to look after your mother, who lives on the west coast of the UK over 250 miles away, and another close relative (your wife's mother) in the next large town over, some 20 miles away...

Most of your time is being spent travelling.

Things like the cinema are a rare luxury indeed. As I have said in another post, my life-line to the cinema is my 46" 3D Plasma TV, my Bluray machine and my 1/6 scale figures. The last movies we saw at the cinema was AVATAR.

When I said that not everyone is in the same position, this is what I meant.

It also seems that people could not even be bothered to read even three pages back in a thread, before regurgitating the same pointless expression.

Maybe it has something to do with being behind the wheel of my car for most of the time, I clocked up about 7,000 miles last month.

And I will be DAMNED if I am going to be forced out of a thread of a figure that I am going to spend my hard earned cash on, simply because some people are too stupid, lazy or selfishly indifferent (or even all three combined) to do things the right way and use spoiler tags.

The guy seems to have it rough, all he's asking is that he can admire the figures he's going to buy, on of the only escapes he has and enjoy it without being spoiled the main pointers of the film, I honestly don't see why we need to be discussing the film in here anyway considering the figure has been announced.

And in regards to the 'possessed' sculpt, that was only when Loki touched him, doesn't really warrant a release and isn't a huge part of the character IMO

The films been out now over 2 weeks here and over a week in the US. And as has been mentioned before; once it was released in the US it was always going to be the case of spoilers being greenlit in figure threads.

Plus, mods were stepping in and banning spoilers back then; not now though.

He looks great! I think his HS is just as good as Thor's... by which I mean I think both are great.

I'm glad that in other lighting the purplish color looks the same on his clothes and quiver.

We just watched MI: Ghost Protocol the other night and I can totally see Jeremy Renner in this sculpt.

Whilst he is a good looking fellow (gorgeous was the word my wife used ), to me he has a slightly pinched mouth/nose, both of which are in this sculpt.

My next, second, Flex comes out tomorrow night (our time) so our HE is halfway home.
