Action figure is just a marketing term made up to sell dolls to little boys.

I remember getting an Action Man 'doll' as a child.

Maybe it's just me but I always thought if it had a body underneath with real fabric on top like Cap or Hawkeye, it was considered a doll? Iron Man on the other hand would be considered an action figure?

I've had this debate recently so just curious as to what people think of that.

Never thought of it that way. I've simply distinguished it by boy and girl figures. Boys had action figures and girls had dolls.

Black widow Calls wolverine "little Uncle"
He more or less raised her till about age 9, AND he's the one who trained her to be a spy, to fight, and how to kill people.


So, I'll say it again. We need a new wolverine to go with Black Widow.

I'd certainly like to have 2.0 versions of Wolverine, Black Widow and Captain America for this shot alone.

I have this comic book. It was actually my first book that had BW and CA in it. I was a big X-men fan. Love Jim Lee's art. He made CA look cool to me for the first time in my comic book reading life. Before that and the current movies, of course, I never even thought about CA or any of the Avengers for that matter.

Yeap its sculpted hair alright ... I hope they do the curls right don't like Loki's hair being all spiky and weird from behind.... just my opinion anyone else here think the same ???

Anyway, people hoping to see figures along those lines may as well just give up hope. HT has the movie license, so won't make comic book likenesses. Though I would love to see an Uncanny Wolvie. I always thought that was his coolest look.

Simple explanation. If I remember correctly, that book also has the flashbacks that had Wolverine fighting along side cap in WWII, and with Black widow as a child.

Asfor comic looks, you never know, they might do them one day, the might not. Either or, I don't care, the avengers movie looks are close enough to the comics to me.

I saw that alot when I was a kid reading comics... and it always bugged me too.

They need to make a comedy superhero team movie called "Together Again for the First Time".

The word 'doll' just doesn't conjure an image of a 1/6 scale figure for me. I think of 1:1 infant toys.

I never picked up the original Black Widow, mainly because of the real hair issue. I'm so pleased they went with sculpted and so far she looks amazing! ;D

Can't wait too see the full reveal
