Plus don't forget, this is the first figure full reveal since the sublimely excellent LOKI, which was so good that it can only colour your view of the next one to a certain extent, this was always going to draw a fair amount of comparative attention.

As far as the "manliness" or lack thereof of people collecting figures based on the human form, take heart: according to psychologists, ALL people who do this are deeply damaged individuals with very serious issues. Male, female, it don't matter.... we're all psychologically abberant weirdos who really ought to be under observation somewheres.

Not me; well not in terms of waiting for something long overdue. I've just read alot of pissed off fans posts; such as those who waited for Jake Sully and are still waiting for the Tron lightcycle. Just wait for Nova to show up and tell you his problems.

I remember in my college Psych class, once the instructor asked everyone who believed there was any inherent worth in traditional psychiatric therapy, as in actually meeting with a psychiatrist routinely to discuss one's problems, etc.

Out of about 80 people, maybe ten hands went up - and that's a generous estimate.

So yeah, have to agree that I don't take such pronouncements very seriously. I wish I could remember my source. The link was posted on a fashion-doll board I used to frequent, several years ago. Outrage and hilarity were equally present in the responses, lol.

The Q4 releases are always late though because of the whole Pre-Christmas thing.

What i find interesting is that people here don't trust the artist. From that interview that was posted It was Yulli that wanted rooted hair. If you go to a good restuarant do you tell the chef how to cook? Maybe the sculpted hair looked lousy...in the end you have to trust the people that are creating it...as far as the production pieces go hopefully the hair is easy to futz.

I think you misread the interview sir. unless I'm mistaken, it said the opposite. That Yuli Did not want rooted hair because of the rats nest that the first one became.
So I am trusting the artist here

For the record, I'm a 42 year old father of 3 and I've been collecting toys all my life. 1/6 and smaller figures too. So if I'm truly nuts in the opinions of some shrinks, then I guess i'm guilty and can live with that!

I know a lot of people have been waiting for these for a long long time....at least Jake is shipping.

I've been waiting for a bust by a company called Coarse for 1.5 years now...and that was Pre paid, so I can sympathize with the frustration.

Yea Jake has shipped, Babydoll has shipped and soon enough, Amber will ship along with Red Skull most likely. But wait, where the hell is my lighcycle that was promised to be coming soon with their increase of production? The only one of those that I didn't end up canceling even though I said I would. Been waiting damn near if not more than 1.5 years for it and still nothing. If its not released after Amber I really don't know what I'm going. I've sent HT and email over a week ago and still not reply
